Hi! Okay, so I'm asking this to a bunch of fans of Agents of SHIELD who seem to be good at coloring their gifs and edits for the show - would you mind terribly doing a tutorial for coloring AOS? I want to do more work with it in graphics but I find coloring for it to be very difficult. Thank you, whether you write one or not!
hi there! aw, well first off thank you! that's really sweet to be thought of, eep! and man, i know how you feel - aos is incredibly hard to colour (don't get me started on s2, i swear its been filmed by a nokia in someones basement 1/2 the time. i tend to avoid it). colouring generally takes 76% of my time and frustration.
as for making a tutorial, i'm not too sure if i'd be the best one to make one! just because i don't create my own colourings, and jump around with different psds. typically i end up using three main psds within a gifset, which varies from gif to gif (depending on lighting, vibrance, general graininess etc). i end up editing them to fit the specific colouring i want, which often means turning down vibrance/selective colours/etc., (really just playing around tbh).
i have one psd i use a lot, which is this one. keep in mind that i usually have to play around with it. good to add vibrance and for mid-dark scenes (additionally, i feel like the psds from here could be manipulated for aos really nicely!) sometimes i like to use this aos colouring by warpsex!
for graphics i have a favourite psd thats from drunk and colouring, psd 348. i'm not too sure if that helps or not? sorry i couldn't be more helpful! but good luck c:
