according to this buzzfeed quiz, i’m the most like peggy, which i guess makes sense. i tend to avoid the spotlight but still want to be remembered and included in things (i would definitely yell ‘AND PEGGY DON’T YOU FORGET ABOUT ME’ any chance i get). i also really admire her views on the war (’it’s bad enough there’ll be violence on our shore’)

the song i identify the most with is ‘wait for it’, i felt like that was my anthem last year because i was just waiting for the year to end and for things to get better, so i definitely understand burr’s patience (also i, like aaron burr, am a Mess and would definitely try to light a candle with a gun and set my house on fire, then try to become emperor of my own country)

but mostly i’m extremely hotheaded when it comes to my opinions and am a general fuck-up so. hamilton, i guess

When and how did you start to being into/aware of/care about the whole feminism cause? Has something triggered it, someone who was a role model for you or did it come naturally to yourself? and what do you think is missing so that girls will realize feminism isn't an angry-people-burning-bras thing, but something really important to all women?

There was nothing that actually triggered me. My parents have always raised me based on equality and tolerance, and from then on I just couldn't understand most of what happened in the world. It was not a matter of starting to realize how messed up some stuff were, for the most part, it was a matter of realizing I wasn't the one that was wrong. 

There were some things that I thought were normal when I was little (like slut-shaming and rape-culture) and when I grew up began to find unaceptable. But it was mostly just from my own mind. Obviously, being stuck on the internet all the time since I was 8 and having access to anything I could search (and equality has always interested me) helped a lot. 

I think what people need is more awareness, and more information. We still get a LOT of wrong and ridiculous information. Mass media perpetuates rape-culture, schools perpetuate slut-shaming, and it's obviously hard for most people to ignore that and break out of that.
