So i was wondering, what if Freyja ended up adopting Francis? How would their dymanic be as a family? 👀

They were kind of thrown together by chance, two stubborn people who were struggling with the changes brought to their lives after the War. From awkward politeness to bottled up guilt and anger to actually communicating to… their own little family?

At the foundations of it, they are thankful for each other. They’d both had to endure tough times, but now they have the chance to move forward and live life they way they want - to the fullest, with people to support them.

Francis wanted Freyja to teach him magic. Obviously, being a Muggle, he couldn’t cast spells. Instead she taught him how to use Floo Powder in case of an emergency, and how to spot cursed objects. 

They live mostly like Muggles, to help Francis develop his life skills like any Muggle child.

Francis’ first gift to Freyja was on Mothers Day, 1999. It was a surprise to her, as he had never called her ‘mum’, or referred to her as his mother. But she started seriously considering adopting him.

It was on Francis’ birthday that Freyja made the offer to formally adopt him. And she was terrified to do it - she thought it might be presumptuous of her to think he might want to stay with her instead of being adopted by a “normal” two-parent family.

Francis meanwhile was happy to know that he was actually wanted, and not just kept out of guilt, or out of an obligation to duty.

Given they’re only about 16-17 years apart, sometimes they act more like siblings or friends rather than a parent and child.

The first time Francis called Freyja ‘mum’ was completely by accident. It was awkward for both of them, they kind of just pretended it didn’t happen.

Francis made Freyja watch the Disney movie Mulan with him, saying she’d like it because Mulan had a sword. She was fighting back tears at the scene where Mulan came back home to her family. It was soon after that she went back to her grandmother’s house to apologise to her family for running away years before.

21. What is their favorite thing about their personality?: Probably being friendly! Ana loves making friends and if she knows that someone is deserving of an opportunity of redemption —merula— she gives them her friendship. However she is not about to get dragged by someone who does not take the opportunites and is toxic, happily for her that still has not happened.

25. What is their biggest flaw?: Ana was very amenable, and in a way she still is. While looking for Jacob she encountered many people who hurt her and used her like a rag for their own benefits. And the worst part of that, is that even knowing about that, she let them. She knew Rakepick wasn't reliable. She knew Dumbledore had other purposes. She saw how her suffering benefited others and still she didn't step up. Her excuse was that it was for Jacob. She wanted to find him, she wanted her family back and if she wasn't happy then so be it.

27. What is their biggest strength?: I would say that it is being trustworthy. Ana is the shoulder you can rely one when being upset or when you need to release your doubts about something or are in distress or even when you are so happy you want to talk about that certain thing. She will hear you out and be there for you no matter what. She won't tell a soul about your secrets and she will protect your back when you are in danger or in problems. However not many view her as this, since Ana wholly cares about your well being. She will make some choices that you will at first not like but if you see well through it you will understand that she did it because she knew it was the best for you.

She had 3 brooms, the shooting star model loses speed and height when it get old, so she quit it, she retired the Siver Arrow to be kept with the family (she was afraid to break, since it was an old model that belonged to her grandfather) and so she bought a Nimbus 1000 to play Quidditch

Well this is not a request, but I just wanted to say I love your art so much. Besides, it makes so happy when you like what I post. Even you're following. Which I find that quite surprising. I mean, I have recently starting drawing again. 'Cause I'm focused on improving as much as a I can. And receiving such positive feedback motivates me so much. (I tend to be really hard with myself since I'm a freaking perfectionist). But seeing such talented people here is so inspiring. I love it!!💙💙💙

First of all, thank you. I’ve said thank you’s to all the nice comments and asks I’ve gotten in the past in one go, but I had trouble deleting your heartfelt comment without a proper reply!Second, yes, feedback is really important. It does help and I myself should improve to do more than just like & reblog. If you enjoy someone’s content and want to see more, it’s best to let them know it’s not “all for nothing”. Third,

I hope you don’t think it’s so surprising I’m following you anymore??? It’s not that surprising there’s people who want to see more of your content! But I want to rant a bit about art & perfectionism generally and your comment gave me a reason sorry not sorryA lot of artists are frustrated with their art not being good enough to their standards. I suppose that’s just how it is, because it is really difficult to make something come life the way you imagined it. But when I was really frustrated with my portfolio, my colleague said to me “done is better than perfect” and that’s a nice way to think about it. A shared artwork is more likely to be enjoyed than something you never show anyone. Even if there’s people out there who would draw my ideas in a better, more compelling way, they’ve got their own ideas. And I’m the cheapest option for me, lol ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I’ve found it that if an artwork lies in my work in progress -folder for years, I’m most likely to have moved on to another fandom or idea I’m more into and never finish it. While not everything you do has to be made for the purpose of showing it to other people, I find it a bit sad if my wip folders are full of ideas I never got to share with anyone (ಥʖ̯ಥ) Anyway, the point I have is that you don’t have to wait to be perfect to get some art done.

I'm a bit curious about how is Freyja and Merula relationship, i mean in year 5 they're supposed to work together for the cursed vaults. So, Would they discuss a lot? Or would they refuse to work together or even at some point maybe try to "get along"? 🤔

I SWEAR I WANTED TO ANSWER THIS EARLIER BUT I WANTED TO WAIT UNTIL I STARTED YEAR 5 BUT I ALSO WANTED TO ANSWER YOUR ASK😭😭

But since it’ll take me another 50 years to reach the part where Merula joins the curse breaking adventures, I will see what I’ve learnt so far.

Freyja doesn’t trust Merula any further than she can throw her. Which would probably be a decent distance, but that’s not the point. I think any chance they had of having any kind of positive relationship was ruined after the Devil’s Snare incident (aftermath shown above). Being strangled by a plant isn’t Freyja’s fondest school memory.

And the thing is? If Merula had apologised for that stunt, it probably would have gone a long way to improve their current relationship. But thanks to a combination of Merula’s pride and Freyja’s resentful nature, that will probably never happen.

 As far as working together on the Vaults, Freyja doesn’t bother keeping Merula in the loop on what she’s up to, and vice versa. They have pretty much no respect for the other, and there’s really not much they like about each other.

((Probably the only thing Freyja likes about Merula is her singing voice. She’s a sucker for a nice voice))

But unfortunately Freyja still has a hard time accepting that people can change or mature. And all the stunts Merula pulled seem to have ruined any chance of a true friendship.
