Jonouchi grimaced as he held two cards from his deck up next to each other. He’d spent all day trying to work out the kinks in his deck, and he was down to these last two cards. And he couldn’t choose which one to keep and which to pull out of the deck.

After another few long moments of deliberation, he turned to Yugi sitting next to him. Except, it wasn’t really Yugi, was it? Jonouchi was having a hard time wrapping his head around the idea that Yugi was two different people in one. But he knew the difference easily. The way they each held and presented themselves was vastly different.

"Hey, Yugi, which one do you think I need to get rid of?"

He held the two cards out to Yugi, practically shoving them in the other’s face and forcing him to back away for a moment. Yugi looked startled for a instant, but then he relaxed and looked at the cards carefully. An intense look of concentration came onto his face and Jonouchi couldn’t help but stare. That was one of the big differences between this Yugi and his best friend (though they were really both his best friends! …right?). This Yugi was always very intense and it was … well, intense.

Finally, Yugi passed both cards back to Jonouchi, a small smile falling into place. "Both. They can both help you more than you realize. Don’t get rid of either of them." While it hadn’t been the answer Jonouchi had been looking for, he simply rubbed the back of his head and laughed. "Well, I guess you’re the expert! Alright, I’ll keep both."
