And this concludes another AWESOME session at the gym. Major focus again on my two favourite bodyparts, biceps (guns) and abs, went a bit easier on the legs after yesterday's blast. Adding L-Citrulline Malate to my pre-workout stack has certainly made a difference. A few of you have asked me what exactly is in my pre-workout stack, well that's a secret, but I'm going to tell you here, just don't tell anybody else ok? ActiveRoG's pre-workout stack : 1/2hr before Gym 1 x Scoop 'RIPPED' Thermogenic Protein Powder 10g of L-Citrulline Malate 8g of BCAA 4g of Acetyl L-Carnitine 1 x Scoop Youngevity Osteo-FX 1 x Scoop Youngevity BTT 1 x ACT drink sachet (entire contents) 8g Creatine Shake well with water, and I drink this 1/2 hour before Gym. During my work-out, I mix up one more packet of ACT with a scoop of Youngevity BTT, plus another 8g of BCAA's and 4g of Acetyl L-Carnitine. As my gym session progresses, I take a small sip of this mix after every set to give my body a nutrient boost. Every time the fluid level in my gym shaker (a standard world gym shaker with the thingy on the bottom to store your post-workout protein mix), when the shaker gets to 2/3rds, I go back to the water fountain and I top it up with water, and give it a good shake. I do this each time the level gets to around 2/3rd, the solution dilutes as my workout progresses (1 to 1hr 45min duration). My post-workout protein mix consists of : 2 x Scoops "Ripped" Thermogenic Protein 8g of BCAA 4g of L-Citrulline Malate 4g of L-Carnitine 1/2 Scoop of Youngevity BTT 1/2 Scoop of Youngevity Osteo-FX I take this straight after my workout before leaving the gym.
