That's how hot I am. #hot #roasting #me #selfie #heatcam #pedator #itsinthetrees #overhere (at Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències - Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias)
itsinthetrees is right about everything ever and is a rare voice of reason on this site. Infinitely entertaining, astute and sardonic. Flawless.

least favourite fandom theory, tbh
Oh, I'm sure I have others I dislike far more. (Anything involving Sansa dying/not being a Stark because Lady died, for one.) But yes, I think it's the pervasiveness plus the ultimate point-missingness of this one that annoys me.

it’s like people who start crowing ‘victarion is azor ahai!’ they like making up conspiracy theories that would be ~surprising~ more than they like looking for actual meaning in the text.
Pretty much. I admit I'm guilty of proposing the occasional "surprising" theory myself, but usually it's from searching for meaning in the text, especially in re character or GRRM's themes. (i.e. not stuff like "the Blackfish and Lady Stoneheart are totally working together to crown Jon and that's why Harwin's the hooded man in Winterfell.")

I agree with you on the Jeyne matter! I dislike that theory not because it's unlikely or disruptive towards the theme of that plot, but because it takes away a great scene from Jeyne
I dislike it because it's unlikely, disruptive toward the themes of the Robb plot, and because it takes away a great scene from Jeyne. ;)
Carice put out an album earlier this year -- SEE YOU ON THE ICE. It's marvelous.
things i will now be checking out!

ya i rly liked it and i think a scene of her actually finding out might have been written super ott
yeah but apparently most of fandom wanted a ten-minute scene of gnashing teeth and rending clothes
i thought it was a nice touch of subtlety from d&d

my guess is it’s the murder of sweetrobin, and sansa doesn’t stop littlefinger from doing it
yeah as much as i want it to be her pushing littlefinger out the moon door, it's too early in the game for that.
