do people ever transfer from elsewhere university to somewhere more mundane? is that possible?

Yeah, it’s definitely possible, and yeah, it happens a few times a year. Some students leave because they’re running from something, but the majority who transfer out do so for the usual reasons. Elsewhere is still, at surface level, just another liberal arts school.
