it feels like i should at the very least post an introduction, regardless of the fact that i don't expect very many (if any) people to find and interact with this blog.

so the short of it is this: i've been trying or a long time, and instead of trying and failing i will aspire to do and succeed in the ways i can.

this is as much a journal as it is a map of my journey to self-discovery and coming into my own being (regardless of what that might look like).

i've always lived with the mindset that 'it's no big deal' because at an early age i decided that other people take priority above my own wants and needs. that changes. today.

i will no longer apologise for being myself - i will no longer hold back and pull the metaphorical punches that is standing up for myself. i will no longer take the back seat of my own life.

you're welcome to follow along on my journey, but for the most part this is the first of many things i will do for myself.

i don't have to be sorry for leaving and growing up.
