Forever my man crush Monday! I still cannot believe I met him!!! He's so wonderfully sweet and everything I thought he would be and more!
Hello Hiii There!!!! Today's my 21st Birthday!!!!!!
omg??? I just realized that I've reached 100 followers like WHAT?? THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH for real I appreciate each and every one of you. I made this Tumblr to be connected with people, and I NEVER thought or even expected to reach this many followers but I have and I am thankful to all of you!!
Love you guys!!
Really lame stop motion video I made for my Intro to Film class
Just read part two of My Graceless Heart and again, I absolutely LOVED it. I know they're not supposed to be portrayed exactly like JD and Elliot, but you still managed to capture the same emotions and the same vulnerability and doubt that both JD and Elliot had in their relationships all while writing for completely different characters! I don't know how you do it, but you do, and you do it well! Thank you so much, I'm so glad I asked YOU to write this fic bc you really are one of the best!
thank you so so much, like really, because i felt a little weird about the last chapter and the reviews are definitely mixed but i feel a lot better knowing that YOU think i'm still pulling it off seeing as you asked for the prompt, and i really appreciate this, so thank you :')
the third part will probably be up sometime this weekend!!
and thank you again <3
Thanks for answering these questions! I do have another concern, however. How is the housing? I hear that there can be up to 12 people living in one place! Does the housing include like cable/televisions and Internet (well I assume Internet because you are on Tumblr, lol) And like, how do you get to places if you don't have a car?
Housing is really NOT that bad. I live in Vista Way, which is the oldest of the housing and the one with the worst reputation. (We've been in playboy, for example. And have roaches every once in awhile). But compared to where I lived in the past, this is the nicest place. And 12 people is not the case, at least not in Orlando. MOST you can have in a house is an 8 person. I live in a 6 person, which works out great for me. Housing fees come weekly, and they cover all that. Cable, internet, power, water...it's all included. Our internet SUCKS, quite frankly, but I have it so I can't complain. :)
I don't have a car (my roommate does, but she drives us very rarely) and it's NOT a problem. In Orlando, they have an amaaaaazing bus system. It gets you to literally every disney property that you could ever possibly work at (or want to go on your day off), as well as a bus that takes you to Walmart, Publix (and the UPS store), Walgreens (there's one walking distance from Vista, too), the post office, the Florida Mall (we also have an amazing outlet mall just across the street from Chatham), and of course Downtown Disney. People complain about it a lot, because the busses aren't necessarily always on time and sometimes they don't show up. But if you're late to work because of work, it doesn't count against you. We've only had to get a taxi three times, once to go to Downtown Orlando, once to get to the bookstore, and once to get to the petstore. And you always make friends with car-drivers too, so they're often willing to take you somewhere.
I love it. Housing and transportation is AMAZING, really. Everyone who complains about it most likely just wants to complain anyway.
I was just wondering because I was looking into that, and it seems like an amazing opportunity! What do you work as?
It IS!!! I love every minute. Well, some minutes are tough. But I still love it.
I'm a custodian in World Showcase, which is probably the EASIEST place to work the BEST role. It's very rarely as gross as people expect, and we get to walk around world showcase and interact with guests at our on leisure. A lot of working "alone" at times, but I love it. My roommate Alex just said "Tell your friend IT'S A HORRIBLE PROGRAM. THEY WORK YOU LIKE A SLAVE. And it depends on location and who you're working with." which I'll agree to that last part for sure. :) But as long as you go in with an amazing attitude and sign up for a program with a length you can stick with (don't do 8 months if you think you can only last 3!), it is AMAZING.
