"Out of the frying pan and into the flames." Closed
Maybe if she had been home, or at least closer to home, she could have contained it with magic and no body would have been able to tell. But no, she had gone searching for her friend, closer to the middle of the village, and by the time she could see the flames it was too late.... so the angel prayed for rain that she knew would come soon and then began to run. She had only had time to help a boy and his dog out of a house when the rest of the army seemed to arrive. Between the flames of all of the burning buildings and homes, the citizens trying to scatter, and the soldiers moving in, everything looked a bit disorienting. Then she heard the crying. Standing in the street was a little girl crying for her mom. The only problem was the the burning building she was standing next to was about to collapse. With out thinking about Trouble ran up the street, scooping the little girl up in her arms and back tracked as fast as she could away from the building, it collapsed barely missing the two. As she backed up she hit something solid, or rather, someone. Turning around she only sighed to see a familiar face while the little girl still screamed in her arms. @itssimayi
