Honestly how do you think things would be different for MCU Peter and May if Ben was still alive? I know he's not talked about but I'd consider him a hard working blue collar worker. And I can imagine him walking in when Tony is trying to recruit Peter and just NOT being down for some billionaire super hero coming in to suddenly take his nephew to Germany.

Honestly? I think Peter would’ve stayed the actual Friendly-Neighbourhood Spider-Man. He wouldn’t have been recruited, he wouldn’t have become an Avenger, he wouldn’t have developed so many mental issues. He would’ve had the chance to stay a kid and do good at the same time in this scenario. I’m not saying that May is not able to do this for him, she would’ve been, if she had known why tonky was actually visiting them. In this case, Ben would’ve stopped tori and would’ve made sure his nephew is protected at all costs. He and May would’ve kept stank a hundred miles away from their precious Peter boy.

Peter still would’ve stayed Spider-Man, but in a completely different way: not the i-have-the-whole-worlds-weight-on-my-shoulders-as-a-superhero way, but rather making-my-corner-of-the-world-a-better-place-because-i-have-these-powers-that-make-it-possible way.

As much as I appreciate and love May for everything she’s done and is doing for her nephew, I still feel like it would’ve been much better for the both of them if Ben stayed alive, because he was a loving husband and a caring uncle who took care of his family and tried his best to provide them a good life. I just really miss Uncle Ben.

My dude. There is only six episodes this season. We legit only got FIVE episodes left and then this show will be over for good. Five episodes to wrap up all this good stuff. Also, I am curious as to how you feel about the books compared to the Game of Thrones show itself.

I love the books. I loved the show until last season, when the show outpaced the books. I downgraded it to “like”, because I felt like it stopped being an adaptation of one of the most amazing works of fantasy literature ever written, and it became a standard genre television show with a big budget.

And the fanservice stuff they did so much of last season (and even in the premiere episode last night!) just drove me crazy. I want to watch Game of Thrones, not Game of Thrones fan fiction.

Hey there been a while. I was wondering what your thoughts were on about the fact that Tom currently has more resources available to him with Halcyon than Red does with his crushed criminal empire? Whatever game goes down between Tom and Red over the suitcase and the remains inside will bound to be interesting considering who they each have in their corner. Thoughts?

I think he has access to more resources, but the closer we get to the show coming back, the more I’m questioning if Tom would use those resources. We still don’t know for sure if he is aware that Kat was referring to Howard or if she was able to tell him anymore before passing out and/or dying on him in that hotel room. If Tom still 100% trusts Howard, sure, he might go to Halcyon and use those resources, which will put him steps ahead of Red because of those limited resources. If he’s questioning Howard, he may look into other options. 

Tom’s in dangerous territory no matter what he chooses. Reddington is his father-in-law now and he knows how long Liz has wanted to know more about her past. With the truth out there, she has a route to take, but the bones could also provide something about her past potentially.... I feel like he’s in a very delicate place right now and he’s going to have to be very careful with that next step he takes.

Renly deserved it. He was an adult who was making a conscious choice to war against his brother just because he thought he was better fitted for the job than his brother so he deserved it.

So I'm curious if you're into a show called Blacklist? There's a character on that show who is sort of a parallel to Grant Ward on AoS. Except it's more, how should I say, "done right" ? Not in the villain that Ward is, but in the sense of a bad guy who eventually tries to earn his redemption. I don't wanna spoil anything if you haven't seen the show but pretty much this character shits on Ward and his development in AoS by taking responsibility for what he's done but not holding a grudge.

I actually don’t watch that, but I might have to check it out if there’s a villain who actually takes responsibility for his actions!

That’s so rare nowadays that at this point I’d almost be willing to watch a show for that reason alone!
