I started this blog not because I want to be famous. I started this because I need to start talking about my past. I don’t ever talk about it, and I think it is starting to eat at me. So you’re more than welcome to follow my rants and raves. I welcome you to sit back and eat some popcorn. Let me give you a rundown of me. 

I had a shit past. Yes, I know I’m nothing special. A lot of children get abused daily. Yes, I know this. I am just here to tell MY story. I got out. I was able to make a life for myself. But, that doesn’t mean I had it super easy after. There were some ups and downs, but that is why I am here. 

Here is some stuff about my present. I am happily married, no kids (yet), I bought my first house this years, and I am an ER nurse, and I don’t think I could’ve found a better job!

Over Looked

Sitting here waiting,

watching my friends go

one by one

finding a new life.

Sitting here waiting,

watching the hours

just pass by,

wondering if and when

it will be my turn.

Sitting here waiting,

not knowing if today

will be

when I finally get to

leave.

Sitting here waiting,

being overlooked,

being judged, being laughed at.

Just because my cracks are more

visible.

Just because my past owners

have mistreated me,

miss used me,

never even tried to

understand me.

Sitting here waiting,

for my second chance.

For my turn to finally have a voice.

Sitting here waiting,

and waiting, not knowing.

Sitting here waiting,

for my permanent puppeteer.
