Tonight was the big night. Or at least that's what his entire family had been calling it. To Noah, it was just another boring night where everyone's attentions were focused on his brother Tyler. Tyler was to be introducing them to his new girlfriend. Noah had already written off any hope of liking such a person. 'She must be an idiot to be dating that loser' had been his exact thoughts when informed of his brother's latest squeeze. There was no secret amongst the family of Noah and Tyler's disagreements; the pair bickered and argued as though it was their job. Rarely did they actually get along and act in a somewhat brotherly manner towards each other. But regardless of that, Noah was being forced to attend the dinner. He slumped down the stairs and entered the dining area where his whole family were waiting -- fake smiles plastered across their faces as though they were actually part of a functioning, happy family. "You could have made more of an effort" His brother's annoying voice rang through his ears as soon as he entered the room. Noah looked down at his rolling stones t-shirt and ripped up black skinny jeans, only offering his brother a scoff in response to that statement -- this was him making an effort. Not long after the doorbell rang, Tyler running off like an excited little puppy dog to go and welcome his girl into their home.
