Love and Marriage | Betty & Peter

Today was the real first day that Peter Parker has gotten married to Betty Ross, turning her to Betty Parker for an entire week. Last night was an awkward situation for the both of them, but have since then ceased any worried thoughts; it is going to last for only a week after all, right? When Peter had jokingly asked if he could move in, she agreed to his surprise which has led to Peter packing a few things he wanted to take with him for the time being. It was all still very surreal that he, somehow, was married to one of his professors, but despite that factor, Peter was going to find out how exactly this all happened, and how the two of them ended up as husband and wife by the law.

Today the skies were clear, the sun was out, and everything seemed to be going in the right place for everyone. It was a rarity to see days like this in New York, but when you did see them, there was this sense of home to it; just one of those days where everyone was friendly and gracious to one another, which is a sight to be seen in Manhattan especially.

 Betty didn't live that far away from the campus, so her directions were pretty easy to follow, and before he knew it, her home was in his sight. When the taxi pulled up to the curb, a sense of anxiety had hit him; besides the fact he puts himself in danger everyday, it was still bizarre to be doing this. To be moving in with someone he, for only a week, considers as his wife. According to Betty, nothing is going to change between the two of them, but Peter didn't exactly believe her words. He'll have a whole week to find out if things are going to stay the same or not.

Getting out of the taxi, Peter took the bags and luggage he had with him, and slowly made his way to the front door step, ringing the bell with the tip of his nose, and awaited for her to answer.

16: Upside-Down Kiss

Bruce was laying on the couch, reading a book, when Betty walked into the living room, grabbing a random book off the side table and sitting with her back to the couch, just in front of Bruce. Quietly, he marked his page and closed his book, leaning over her and taking her lip between his and kissing her upside-down. He pulled away, feeling a little giddy from the blood rushing to his head and kissed her nose before returning to his original position and picking up where he left off as though nothing had conspired between them.
