@itsyabitchsami again, i think you could make the exact same argument about pretty much every character in other routes. ESPECIALLY lucio, in nadia’s route he’s a whiny pathetic baby, in muriel’s route he’s a straight-up monster, etc. etc. he’s worse than a sidekick, he’s a villain, yet people have no problem romancing him despite that, literally just because he’s a good-looking white dude.
and yeah saying that people’s headcanons for her are lackluster also tells me that you just really don’t value her as a character or value the contributions of writers in this fandom who write for her. like saying that people’s writing isn’t good enough for you is straight-up rude, and saying it’s not their fault doesn’t get rid of that. i’m a writer in this fandom who puts a LOT of effort into portia imagines because i know she’s not getting the same amount of love, i’m not gonna take something like this well.
