I haven’t really drawn flowers before but I’d been wanting to do something that incorporated flower symbolism, so I chose flowers that felt significant to his character in my itteration.

Rhododendron: elegance and grace

Lily of the Valley: sensitiveness; return of happiness

Redraw of a piece I did two years ago

I had just started with digital art and had no idea what I was doing, but I’d also just lost my religion and everything I thought I knew about myself, so I stayed up all night every night drawing. The night I drew this one I cried and smiled for the first time in weeks. I couldn’t really put it into words, but it felt like I’d finally discovered something beautiful and worth living long enough to find.

I still love this piece, glaring artistic and anotomical errors and all, it’s still my screensaver these years later and I still look at it and feal that golden warmth. Call me cringe for having ninja turtle fan art be my polyamorous awakening, but my little ex evangelical ass needed something to live for, and this drawing was how I discovered that.

Spent the last couple days looking through all of @meandtheyeehaws adorable leosagi art and realized I didn’t have anything with just these two yet.

Not quite sure what to call them. Leoraisagi?

I went back and forth over putting an Usagi in the story but this idea hit me at around 1am and made me feel genuinely warm inside for the first time in weeks.

I love the idea of the three of them traveling around together in their twenties, living out of a hippy van, off on their own kind of adventure. Best friends? Quest partners? Queer platonic? Whatever it is they are, it’s got the closeness of bffs that share all their most precious secrets, the humor and playfulness of brothers, the trust and commitment of comrads in arms, and the emotional intimacy of a couple that’s been married for years.
