Companion song for "Senbonzakura". If I'm remembering correctly this was the first Kaito v3 song I'd heard and I was just so blown away by the difference. I'm so glad Kaito got an append, I really like his voice.
I actually like the video for this one more than "Senbonzakura", but they are both fantastic. I would love to see more songs that tie into this world/setting. Maybe one for Rin and Len?

A lot of my Vocaloid friends were suprised that I hadn't heard this song before a few months ago, but school really put me behind in a lot of my fandoms. This song is pretty famous at this point, and I can see why. It has a good mix of Western and Eastern sound and a fantastic video to go alongside it.
The general consensus about the subject matter is that it's about the Westernization of Japan, which grabs my attention because that's what I studied at university. The blend of clothing in the character designs is something I really enjoy too. Of special note on that is that Rin has a bunka doll with her and is dressed like one herself. Bunka started showing up a lot in the early 1900s, so it fits perfectly.
