“We meet people for a reason” Sometimes you’re just meant to make a wonderful new friend! So yesterday morning I recorded an interview with the fabulous Colette Humes for BBC Radio Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 and we were lucky enough to have a tour! Me, Gwen (the producer of my TV show, also my best mate, and acting Carer), and Sue (my carer) had an absolutely fantastic time hanging out with Colette (who I now consider a new friend!) and bothering various BBC staff. We even got to go in the actual newsroom! And I sat in the presenters chair! SO COOL 😎! I would also like to thank Colette for her excellent attitude regarding accessibility, and thank her for interviewing me in such a way that I felt I was telling my story, not a sensationalised version of it. I was especially grateful she took the time to check if there were any off limits subjects or triggers that we should avoid.
