Homesick / / Erica & Raiden
~ Ashen illustrated nebulas poured armies of crystal clear beads, painting London streets in a most eerie of monochrome taints. Flickering street lamps provided few portions of illumination as jet black clothed peons strolled in an endless voyage, open umbrellas sheltered both body and soul from society's out views. London had not morphed to suit the living soul, instead it brought agonizing moments for those who had the lack of suitable will power to live, alas walking amidst thick crowds of population; our silent killer could have been seen. Fair touches of snow hue perfected oval facial features, ivory strands of hair with luscious fabric dared not dance from the umbrella's shelter, Raiden ceased by a well known cafe for brief seconds as aquatic optical organs observed mutely through the stainless glass. Warming waves of comfort resonated from within such establishment, candles by each table burning away solitude as couples savoured rich spices and food, some wasted their breath by reading newspaper; although no one of interest truly remained in here.
Frowning in partial displeasure for not having encountered even a single face in which he dared to remember, this coffee shop had only reminded him of how life was so hectic before the whole incident with Senator Armstrong. London was never changing, never fading, never saving; just a hole for all to perish within one day, there was no real beauty in this rat infested city where most remained leashed by a pocket thieving ministers. Alas melting into society once again as the black Victorian suit embraced a secret beneath, our White Devil remained in good pace until entering a small store in which shoes could be purchased. The smell of old could still be inhaled, peeling wallpapers and broken wooden tiles for a poor excuse for floor levels, this was indeed a man's last attempt in surviving the world as the elderly man happily brushed a customer's shoe' bowing his head to the new coming person, meanwhile Raiden did show some courtesy and entered to see which shoes he possibly could take for the sake of having something for his feet; something of more comfort. ~
" Hopefully the children in this place are still fine. "
