I think Gregor Samsa from The Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka and Ivan Prisypkin from The Bedbug by Vladimir Mayakovsky should hang out with each other
#two stories about a guy who becomes a bug; one literally and one figuratively#but get this: gregor retains his humanity despite his new form#while ivan has been such a repulsive individual that he really is no more than a parasite on humanity#like they're such perfect foils of each other that I'm inclined to surmise that mayakovsky took some inspiration from kafka#gregor samsa#the metamorphosis#franz kafka#ivan prisypkin#the bedbug#vladimir mayakovsky#The Soviet Poet#anyways. this is my propaganda for people to read the bedbug it's such a good play#and you know this because no other plays have my guy oleg bayan in them!!!
