I have no problem putting myself out there to say that sexism very much goes both ways, and is valid harassment that should be taken seriously as much as it would if it happened to a woman. The mentality that men do not deserve equal treatment when it comes to these things is, in fact, sexist. Regardless of the patriarchal nature of western society, it does not invalidate such things. If you are/have experienced this sort of harassment, just know that there are women such as myself that support you and are here for you.
