Killing was fun. It was, truly. So was hurting. It was fun, that’s why people do it. That’s why people hurt Yamada, and that’s why Yamada hurts others. It’s a circle, a happy, cruel circle. Get hurt, start hurting. At least that’s what Yamada’s therapist said…before Yamada killed him.

Yamada was whistling, his quirk activating in the whistle to vibrate through the building, causing the residents ears to bleed. Who knew who he was hurting? Whoever lived here, worked here, whatever this building was for. Eh, he just didn't like how the doorman looked at him. So now? Yes, murder. Isn’t that always the answer? Besides, he hasn’t been on tv for a while. It’s about damn time he got in the spotlight again.

He stopped his whistling when he saw movement out of the corner of his eye, turning to catch Mr. Eraserhead sneaking up on him. He seemed, “ Heeeey! ” The windows shattered. “ I haven’t fought you before! ” He winked. He’s heard of Eraserhead’s quirk, who hasn’t? well, what goof villain hasn’t? In a sense, Yamada thinks Eraserhead is the most challenging villain. He’s never had to fight without his quirk before Just the thought of the new challenge excites Yamada. Oh, this is gonna be fun.

He dodged the punch, stepping backwards just in time to turn his body out of reach. He just evaded the elbow to the ribs that followed. He didn't recover in time to avoid the foot between his feet, and for what he guessed to be the tenth time in about as many minutes, Hitoshi met the ground in an ungainly tumble of limbs and murmured curses. A hand was offered wordlessly, and he accepted it, hauling himself back up to start this painful dance again from the start.

He was off his game, and he knew it. He knew Aizawa sensei knew it. He hadn't been knocked off his feet this many times since the first time he'd tried to go up against the man, and the reason for it was so prominent at the forefront of his mind that he couldn't for a moment even humour the idea that it may be anything else.

He dodged a punch. "Midoriya asked me out." He felt knuckles graze against his shoulder; a glancing blow. He was fast enough to counter it. "I don't know what I'm supposed to do."
