Carver Hawke is a criminally under-utilized character, and I think we all can agree that it's Bioware's fault to make a character that had such nuance just under the surface, but for the most part, portraying him almost entirely as a little shit and not a scared younger brother who's trying his best.

Yes, he's aesthetically pleasing, and the addiction arc is interesting, but he's still a mage hater who never actually owns up to the amount of harm he caused in DAO or DA2.
