This is an oldie Taiwanese cop buddy drama. It’s really well made for being made in 2009 and is actually good too. The storyline can get a bit far fetched at times but most dramas back then did, I mean heck they still do, right. It has a lot of twists and does keeps you very much engaged. It kind of has that Lethal Weapon feel to it I suppose.

Excuse me, he’s the assassin under duress to the resident Bad Chick (who seems to be into making hot younger men in her debt murder people for her and likes to strip in front of them), all in black, and she’s a sunshine pampered sect leader’s daughter and bona fide Disney princess?

GIMME!!!!

That’s indebted servitude with a hell of an edge!

That wig is a tragedy but tbf maybe it’s a 2010 thing because questionable hair choices abound in this.

Trailer for -197°C (零下一九七), Roy Chiu’s upcoming sci-fi thriller drama. Roy plays a man from the 1950s who finds himself 68 years in the future. He must work with his grandson (Derek Chang) and a mysterious woman (Ivy Chen) to uncover a tech conspiracy spanning a century. Filming resumed two days ago after coming to a halt due to the pandemic.

Idk who else to tell this to, but yalls I rewatched the live action Skip Beat from 2011 and although it was lacking in several things, the actors were perfect in their roles. Especially Choi Siwon as Tsuruga Ren. I still am not over it. I miss him as Ren. I miss Ivy Chen as Kyoko. I miss Donghae as Sho. I really miss this cast as they did such a great job. Also love the soundtracks.
