Trailer for -197°C (零下一九七), Roy Chiu’s upcoming sci-fi thriller drama. Roy plays a man from the 1950s who finds himself 68 years in the future. He must work with his grandson (Derek Chang) and a mysterious woman (Ivy Chen) to uncover a tech conspiracy spanning a century. Filming resumed two days ago after coming to a halt due to the pandemic.

Congratulations to Roy Chiu for winning Best Actor at the 23rd Taipei Film Awards! Watch his movie, MAN IN LOVE (當男人戀愛時), on Netflix in certain regions.

In his acceptance speech, Roy shared, “What I want to say is that I hope we all can return to each and every moment in our lives because I think the most beautiful gift of life is each and every moment. This is the biggest revelation that I’ve received from this filming process. I am Roy Chiu, and I will continue working hard. Thank you.”

Roy previously won Best Actor at the 20th Taipei Film Awards, for his role in DEAR EX (誰先愛上他).
