The latest breakthrough in the #IvyLeagueProject: Alex Roth and I are having a photography exhibition at the Ezra Stiles Gallery, @Yale. Opening this Sunday, Oct. 12 @ 4-6pm. Showing through Oct. 24. // "WABI SABI is an exhibition exploring the art of appreciation toward imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete phenomena both externally and internally. Alex Roth ES '15 and Chicago-based interdisciplinary artist Arjuna Capulong present two photography series in dialogue with each other, each with a source of inspiration that contrasts the other. Roth’s Earth and Light series wrestles with the ephemeral pleasure in reaching the tops of mountains and attempts to preserve a glimpse of the experience with his photographs. In Body, Capulong asks several people what they perceive as their own bodily flaws and challenges them to confront their insecurities by photographing their blemishes and enlarging them so they are larger than life. Each collection of prints is arranged in two adjacent grids resembling a diptych that covers the height of the gallery wall." (at Yale University)
