Quick question...

So did Thanos only wipe out human level like species or animals as well? Did Rocket survive by chance or was it because he wasn't the right species? Wouldn't killing half the animals on planets be counterproductive? Wouldn't it mess up the ecosystem for some planets? Did Sakaar get effected because it's outside of space and time? Russo bros explain!

Honestly I’m really fucked pissed about nebula/gamora. 

THEY COULD HAVE DONE SO MUCH. 

Hell you could have had Nebula and Quill bond!! STILL MAN PAIN. 

Instead no....I get to watch Wanda refuse trade in her old iphone. OH AND THANOS GRIEVING OVER THE DAUGHTER HE MURDERED.

I don’t know how Loki would handle watching Thor being the one who’s bullied. The headcanon in me wants to say he’d fistfight them in a parking lot, but realistically I think it would have just stung Loki. He might not have known what to do seeing Thor hit the same rock bottom Loki hit in TDW. Maybe offer comfort and support.

I fucking hate the Russos SO. MUCH. They destroyed so much character building. We love these characters, we care for them, we feel with them. And the Russos are USING THAT to make money with their fucking tragedy porn. I honestly considered not even watching Infinity War because of them, because I knew what they would do. (using Loki's death as a marketing scheme, teasing with "a major character dies in the first 5 minutes' to get interest was DISGUSTING).

There there. Let it all out! I was pretty hurt about it for a long time about what IW and EG set up for us and I felt cheated, too. I still do. I also kinda felt guilt that I had such strong emotions about it, and tried to avoid venting about it in fear that I would come off as “too sensitive”. But I have started to let myself feel the way I do about how the story went because it’s honestly how I feel about it and I can’t change that. Plus, it’s really cathartic to talk about it and reassuring to know there are others who feel the same way. Not just with Loki, but other characters, too.  

I know Loki is in an alternate universe and I’m still interested in his story, but it sucks so bad that we don’t get to see him in the main timeline (at least for now). It’s just not the same and it won’t feel the same for a long time.

I think what ticked me off the most is the way Marvel’s been marketing the whole thing since the beginning. Leading us on to believe that we will be getting one thing and finding out that they mislead us in a different direction. It’s not lying per se, but it doesn’t feel good, either. Like the character death, or how LGBTQ representation was supposed to happen. Just the little things said that didn’t have to be said but were said anyway because they knew it would interest people. 

It’s so hard for me to completely blame directors for what they’ve created because I understand the lengthy process and there were more people behind the production than we know. Creative control in general is a tricky thing, especially with big production studios, so I do my best to give directors the benefit of the doubt. Still, there were a few things I’ve heard the Russos say that have rubbed me the wrong way.

With that said, you have a right to feel angry at them and feel like they didn’t give you a movie you were satisfied with. That doesn’t mean we should harass them, but talking about it does no harm despite what others may say. It helps us think critically and ask ourselves what kind of story we want to see or what properties are needed to build that complete character arc we love so much.    

 But I wouldn’t worry. I don’t think this is the end or even permanent. I have a feeling we will see so many beautiful stories about Loki in the future. There’s always a new beginning with our god of mischief. It’s in his nature!
