was thinking abt Loki in tdw only introducing himself to Jane by his first name, and how unusual that is for him. it's usually at least something following that, even in Avengers 1 he still calls himself Of Asgard, even tho he's very much not aligned with them at the moment. him just introducing himself as Loki is very unique in that way, and I think very emblematic of where he is at in general, then, not considering himself anything in particular other than just Loki, and then it hit me that he probably doesn't know how Thor tends to refer to him then either. He doesn't know how Thor described him to Jane.

I wonder if he wondered if he used Laufeyson.

now that im thinking about it it really is insane how much loki dies in the mcu. thor 1? dies. thor 2? fucking dies again. thor 3? dies immediately after. thor 4 he's not there guess why. he fucking died

The extra scene of Odin being revealed to be Loki at the end of Thor: The Dark World had an intensely detrimental effect to his character that Thor: Ragnarok barely recovered from.

Loki through the rest of that movie was incredible! He was redeeming himself knowing there would likely be no forgiveness! He was doing good without expecting any good in return!

And then that last scene fucked it all up.
