Prowl is captured by a mysterious group of masked humans and is experimented on. His spark gets exposed and fused with an ancient forgotten relic - The Emberstone.
The group had hoped to build a cybertronian of their own making. But they lacked the CNA to do so. As a test they used animal DNA extracted from ocean infused with stolen sentio-metalico. The experiment was a success but not quite in the way the villains were hoping.
With classic inferior technological difficulties, the emberstone did its job but not before overloading the machinery and causing a massive fire. NOT good for a secret lab on an OIL RIG.
in the chaos, Prowl changed and battered makes an escape and life was given to a new being.
With a new body working against him and a dependent on hand, having bonded in the most unorthodox of ways Prowl and his charge must face the might of the ocean to return home.
But where is home when everyone is out to get you.
Rewatching Ponyo had me stewing in this idea. This story does not read yet like Ponyo hahahah. I just wanted traumatised adult meets child and protect them with their life kinda fluff. I don't know how Ponyo got me here.
