Meet Jabberwocky and Bandersnatch!!! I'm really excited to introduce my new babies to you. I've always wanted a pet for years but sadly I have an allergy to cats and my current lifestyle doesn't lend well to raising a dog. Fortunately my friend pointed out that there are other animals. I've always loved birds and parrots so I did my research. And with the ongoing quarantine, my mental health was really suffering from being alone which accelerated the process. I found a good reputable store and acquired two parakeets as they are a good species for a first time owner and got all the supplies I needed. So introducing to you is Jabberwocky the blue parakeet and Bandersnatch the yellow parakeet! It's been about 24 hours since they came home so they are still adjusting to their enclosure. But I did start hearing them chirp a bit! Hopefully I can start hand training them soon.
