I've noticed that when I make spore prints, mushrooms with darker caps tend to have lighter spores, and those with lighter caps have darker spores. Is this a pattern that you've noticed? I haven't read it anywhere so I'm wondering how true it is.

That’s not a connection I’ve made myself. In fact, thinking about it, I think I find the opposite to be more likely to be true - pale capped mushrooms rarely have dark gills (where gills are present), and dark gills tend to produce dark spores (well, dark spores tend to make gills look darker). I don’t think I can analyse what I know about spores off the top of my head, though.

It’s not something I’ve ever seen discussed, and would certainly be interesting to look into! I suspect it would be the case that there isn’t a particular pattern to it, but I’ve no idea.

I am probably never going to forget watching those uncomfortable scenes unfold with 100+ other uncomfortable people. And right? Wiseau’s delivery is so uncanny that I feel like there’s got to be a mysterious origin story involved.

Oh god I nearly forgot... There were door prizes. They gave out these big blown up movie posters, and now I’m wondering if anyone actually took one home and had a giant Tommy Wiseau scowling at them from their wall.

@iwatch-thebees I got that first message saying that my account was ‘compromised’ and I was completely locked out for uhhhhhh close to seven hours?? I had to delete and reinstall the app like ten times or so and now I have this banner at the top still but I can ONLY access the app lmao this site is a fucking MESS!!!! I can’t reset my password bc yahoo fucking SUCKS and refuses to help me recover my account and I can’t change the email address for my account on mobile so like ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
