Final layout idea based on the conflicting data in Reload, FES and Portable, along with the Movie and Clubbook --- The hotel was built sometime around the early 20th century and had its last major renovation in the 1970s, hence the sorta...outdated interior. Since it's a smallish hotel, I leaned into the idea of it being cheap buisness related accomodation, with the garage outback (where Mitsuru keeps her bike) might've been a service included? Stay at the hotel and we'll do basic repairs on bikes/mopeds ETC. We know from the club-book that the only proper washroom bar Mitsuru's en-suite is seperate and away from everyone, so having it be out of the way means that pre-air-con days the temperature in there could've been controlled more compared to the rest of the building, and it's plenty of space then for washing and bathing (traditional Japanese bath routines are a whole thing in and of themselves) Otherwise, I only really removed the extra door they added in Reload to the kitchen. For the boys/girls floor, the amount of rooms per floor is determinant on what gender the protag chooses, so for consistancy I did 6/6 with the 6th room on the 2nd floor being knocked down for Mitsuru's super room, probably a Kirijo change. IMO post P3 the new third years stay at the dorm (Woo headcanons) and Chidori moves in so that despite not having a persona, it's easier to monitor and she's got the Kirijo group and Junpei looking out for her. She wants the floor that has the funny hat boy on it, and she's not taking no for an answer. Sakuya's room is obviously empty in my fic bc it's FEMC route. Lastly, IMO the last floor had most of the rooms knocked down to make way for all the Kirijo tech bar what Ikutsuki seems to use as his little office space. IK some media interprets it as bathrooms but I think it makes more sense to have it be the old managerial offices/bedrooms. When Jin in my fic moves in, she picks one of the empty rooms up there both because the others want to keep an eye on her more, and so she's not getting dysphoria being on the guys floor since the girls floor is full. Anyhow! Only a lil visual reference I did for myself to help me logic where things are for my fic and I'm happy to nerd and ramble more about any of the decisions - I love seeing different interpretations of how the dorms look and operate!
