on ep 2 of HR. ilya's dad and brother just feel soooooo outrageously stereotypical*. like they're barely human. it feels like a replay of cold war tropes. a very flat depiction of russia and russian people. of course i'd love to hear an actual russian perspective on it, feel free to reblog or reply with your view of russians on heated rivalry.
