Yami Marik means so much to me. I know the way that I self ship with him specifically might be weird, but I'm a weird person. I don't need Yami Marik to be sweet to me, or gentle or patient. I find "romantic gestures" super performative and not-at-all sincere. Yeah, he's not affectionate. The most he would ever let me do is rest my forehead against his back while holding him from behind and that's okay. I don't need more than that. I want our time spent together to be meaningful, and not just do something because it's what normal couples would do. I know that he would appreciate me not trying to change who he is. Having him in my life is enough.
