Kirishima strikes me as the type to like cradle you in his arms. if you’re on your old, well worn couch. when he sets you in the bath he of course ran for you, sliding in behind you, nuzzling your nose into his neck. his collarbone under your chin.

When he has a baby, is he scared of hurting them? his worried thoughts flutter around his head like flies. Pesky thoughts that plague him.

You see him spiraling, the newborn snoozing in your arms.

He looks up, his red orbs filled with tears. You want to cry with him at his fear, but he has no reason to be afraid.

“You were made to be a father, you don’t need to be scared. You won’t hurt her,” you say softly, sliding the newborn into his arms.

Panic overtakes his features, but you stroke the scar over his eyebrow lovingly.

His voice trembles as much as the arms cradling his baby.

“Wha-What if I do? How do you know?”

Your voice is calm as you press a kiss to his warm cheek.

“I just do Kiri, you’re the most loving person in the world.”

He relaxes, cradling his newborn to his chest tightly.

Your smile overtakes your face.

“You protect everyone you meet Eiji, why would she be any different.”
