My next audiobook is Slay by @brittneymmorris. So I was actually in Walmart when I saw this book. I wanted to buy it then but, preparing for my own book release in December I knew I wouldn’t have time to sit and read a book. I almost got mad at myself for not taking a picture of the cover in the store because as soon as I got home to look for the audiobook I forgot the name. I searched “Black authors” “African American Women authors” “Black Gamer book.” After an hour of random searches I finally found it. Slay is about a black girl who is not only a gamer but a game developer. So as an avid gamer myself (gamertag and psn: URxFAVxAUTHOR) I knew I had to get this.
