13 - I wish had better development/writing

1. Clara. When she first popped up at the beginning of Season 7 I thought she had so much possibility and then her entire arc just left me cold on her character

2. River Song. Again, I thought she started with so much possibility for character depth and badassery, and then she kind of... I wouldn't say devolved exactly, just she kept coming back but didn't get any more depth until the point where I started to find her annoying rather than cool

3. Okay, so these aren't really main characters so it might be weird for me to include them here, and also I'm doing both of them on one number because I'm a shit, but Jenny and Vastra. Like okay, they were recurring characters, and DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH POTENTIAL FOR DEPTH THERE IS IN A LESBIAN COUPLE IN VICTORIAN TIMES WHO ARE FROM VASTLY DIFFERENT TIME PERIODS AND SPECIES? They could have been SO. COOL. And instead we never got a lot of insight into their relationship, or them as individual characters really, and honestly it seemed to me at several points that their relationship was just there for comic relief which really bugged me

4.  Amy Pond (I feel like we may be starting to see a pattern here.....) I don't actually have any problem with how Amy turned out in particular it's just that, well, to be completely honest I have a problem with Moffat's part of the show in general, for a lot of reasons and I would've liked to see Amy still retaining her general Amy-ness, but with more depth and less of the problematic stuff that comes from Moffat. 

5. Kendra. So in this case it isn't as much better, as more. Kendra had some issues, but I did like her as a character and thought she was cool for the episodes that she was there, but I would have liked to see her given more development. I think it would have been interesting to see her interacting more with Buffy and the rest of the scoobies, as well as just to get more knowledge about her life and what made her who she was. And i was bummed that she got brought back in Becoming just to play the sacrificial lamb part. I love Faith with all my heart, but I also really would've liked to see Kendra get more of an arc

Do you know when/if there will be a fourth national tour??

Unfortunately, the end of the third national tour was the end of the line for official productions of the show. The rights to perform the show have recently become available, so look out for regional productions in your area in the future!
