Dear god, The Face Lestat makes when Santiago starts reading Claudia's diary, his daughter's diary.

Yes, Lestat himself had read them, but he had been, reluctant or not, her parent for a time. While it was still an overstep of boundaries it is not the same as Santiago reading passages outloud for an audience.

The face he makes is his recognition of that.

It's very obvious he doesn't want to be there for the trial, if he had he would be far more... giddy about what is happening. During the trial his is rigid and almost seems physically disoriented at times. Almost as though the coven were keeping him in control too.

Armand compares him to a hurricane, and normally that is apt, but during the trial himself he seems far too restrained.

This face he makes at that particular moment is grim and as much as he can do to show his displeasure

im v intrigued for louis’s arc with his cameras. (one of which looks like a hasselblad 500c? aka the worlds cutest/greatest camera.)

there are some glimpses of his photo studio/darkroom in the trailers and im so curious for how they’re gonna play with his creation & loss of memory!!!

esp bc darkrooms are just the coolest shit anyway and always make for such great scenes bc of the red light, dark liquids, spots of white light etc.

snapping pics of claudia when she’s happy, versus his speech later saying he takes pictures of disappointment and regret

scene(s) in the darkroom itself - dealing w the creation of memory, or seeing things develop he’d forgotten, or rather not remember?

it looks like he has some sort of studio, too? where he hangs his photos up, or someone makes paintings. these might not be the same room but they look similar idk

and claudia tears them down to scream at him !!
