The way i see critiques/hate of iwtv and about 50-80% in some way relate to characters engaging in bad behavior. Like oh? Bad behavior? From the worst gays known to man? You’re upset that the cast of the real housewives of vampire county are throwing wine and dismembering each other? The people who Do Atrocities for fun? You’re upset they’re behaving in a manner unbecoming of a maiden?
And equating any of it to supernatural and destiel is NUTS to me. Like i’m sorry did we expect the real housewives of vampire county to engage in straight shot slice of life no setbacks romances????
Like this is people getting upset about the evil fantasy/gothic horror royals from the dark fantasy horror politics dragon show doing incest all over again. I’m sorry if you come to a show about Horrible People in Horrible Situations doing Bad Things and are upset they did Bad Things…. Maybe this is not the show or genre for you. Horror, dark fantasy, gothic literature… they are all about the beauty and monstrosity of the world… if you can’t handle the lows well… then i don’t think you even really understand the highs.
