This Charming Man {SH+JY}
It has been a long couple of days for Soohyuk. He's been sleep walking, the flash backs are becoming for frequent and more painful, he just needs to feel numb. He wants to feel like he used to before all this started happening.
The part of town he finds himself wandering into should have someone that can help him solve this problem. He's been reading up on drugs lately, yeah its a temporary fix but maybe they can make him sane enough to let him figure out what the hell is going on in his mind.
He is puffing away his eighth cigarette when he finds the alleyway where the most trustworthy drug dealer he knows hangs around. Trustworthy drug dealer, hilarious, he would be laughing to himself if could muster it. He only grunts at the dealer, handing him the wadded up cash and telling him to give him whatever was equal to it. He knows he is going to get screwed over by this guy but he needs this too badly too give a damn.
Once he has the bag of white powder inside his pocket he quickly turns around but soon stops once he gets to the sidewalk. Someone is watching him. His back stiffens and he pulls up his collar, picking up his face. He doesn't pay attention to where he ends up walking as he feels eyes burning onto his back and slams into someone while he turns the corner. The other man falls to the ground, but Soohyuk doesn't even bother trying help him up. A panic starts to set in when the other looks up at him with a mixture of fear and malice but Soohyuk starts to walk away in the other direction. He can't handle a confrontation, not now. He hears the other yell at him but he keeps walking.
Hey there, miss! Welcome to our lovely family. Feel free to drop by anytime to hang out and talk!
Thank you very much! I shall do that after my resting hours, I promise.
The Works of Wandering
In a place of virtual reality, Jongdae walked. The real world created the basic shapes, the frame, and the constants of redesigning. Within his very mind, nothing was the same — everything was remade for the concepts of discovery and exploration. While he was physically pacing about, his mental state had fallen into subconsciousness, where all was unknown and all would remain unspoken of.
Such a mix of subconsciousness and consciousness required time for differentiation. Often, when one drifted about in two worlds separated by the thinnest of boundaries, they’d find themselves either trapped in one or lost and confused in the other. As this phase of mental discovery was ending, Jongdae walked into something, or at least someone. In that moment of real life contact, all forms of subconsciousness were pushed back to their righteous place — at the back of his mind.
And so, he came to.
He was lost. Nothing would describe his current situation better. Of all the times that he had decided the let his mind drift and his physical being to move about without any destination, it had been a time in which he held no communication device with him. If getting lost was bad enough, having no form of contact in such a situation was only worse. Not only could he not find his way back, but he could not ask a friend to, at the very least, point out a few directions.
So he stands, staring up at the constantly fluctuating skyline. Once in a rare while, he is teased by a glimpse of the university, yet even with such a view, there was no way that he could visualize the roads on which he came from. Jongdae was well and truly lost — his suspended state of wakening having abandoned him without sharing any routes of return.
”What have you gotten yourself into this time, Kim Jongdae?” he curses at himself.
Talking to himself at such a stage was pointless, nothing could be done to pull him back through the labyrinth of buildings. Furthermore, as with any futile attempt to escape the grasps of being lost, Jongdae only found himself more tangled within the web of street signs, traffic lights and traffic jams. After a few more turns, the skyscrapers and offices began to fade behind him, his vision now welcoming restaurants, night clubs and other miscellaneous stores.
Completed with a scowl, Jongdae strolled into the nearest store, a tattoo parlour, freezing once more with the sudden change of surroundings.

"Jiyong-cha~n." She harshly whispered as if she were a secret in the middle of his yard. It was no surprise that he wasn't readily awaiting to see her. In fact, she was one-hundred percent sure that he had no clue that she was anywhere near his vicinity. Even she hadn't counted on showing up on his door step--and she wasn't, instead she managed to fling a rock to every single window that she thought would be probable as his; she wasn't exactly sure which was his. She continued to watch his unmoving curtains make absolutely no move to acknowledge her presence. It didn't even occur to her that he probably couldn't hear her. "Jiyong-chan!" She tried again. No response. With a loud, exasperated grunt, she took a quick look to her surroundings. She needed to get his attention and quickly. This was an emergency, at least, it was an emergency in her eyes.
Her tiny fingers grabbed hold of a few tiny rocks, nothing that would have her thrown into debt should they be heavier than they looked and shuffled back to the window. She called his name once more, pausing for a reaction. When she got none, she went for plan B. "Romeo, oh Romeo!" Her voice leapt into the air as she raised her voice, tossing a pebble to the glass. "Wherefore art thou, Romeo! Open your frickin' window, stupid Romeo!" Finally, she tossed the last of her handful of rocks at the window and dusted off her hands. That should have gotten his attention. For sure.

-pulling his hands free from his hoody pockets, Akira's dark brown eyes darted from face to face pausing for no more than a split second at each one. the hood was pulled over his head, concealing most of his forehead as the band around his nose concealed his nose entirely. he waved his calloused fingers in a light wave, a soft huff of laughter passing his lips as he gave a half smile.- Thanks for the follow. Name's Suzuki Akira. Nice to meet you all.
ixjid replied to your post: the one thing I hate when...
i feel your pain.
Makes me wanna sob and curl up into a ball sometimes, to be honest. Some plots are easy to name and then the others...the complete opposite, aish.
