I feel better now that I ate but also now I'm kind of hungry for more FHSHFB
The more I learn, the more I feel like empathy is just. A thing.
And because of that, lacking or having too much empathy can make society really hard to navigate.
Cause first we have lacking it: everyone expects you to understand/feel things you just don't, and that's not fair, especially when they don't tell you and sometimes even hate you for it.
But on the other hand we have having too much: suddenly you're praised for feeling too much of/relating to someone else's emotions, even when it hurts you and hinders you in actually helping the person.
Both are a struggle, and I kind of wish one wasn't demonized and the other praised!! Cause that doesn't help at all.
