If there's anything to be said about this series, it's that it should have been a trilogy. I really enjoyed the first three books but the fourth and fifth were fluff, and now by the sixth I was reading only for the sake of finishing. Mead's writing is pretty predictable, and the funny one liners weren't enough to save it this time. A lot is left open ended, but pretty purposefully I'd say because of the spin-off series. Series flat lined for me. It was all right, but can't say I'd recommend reading past book three - after that, you can just Google the ending and save yourself some time.
