was here last month at this popular japanese restaurant which is full even way passed dinner hours. waited about 15 minutes or so to get a table, luckily there’s a pokestop here to pass time.. their menu is in an ipad which is given to every table. food comes quite quickly after orders are placed using the ipad.

we ordered oden - radish and fish meat, salmon mentaiyaki, saba shioyaki, yakitori and hokkaido pork belly don with onsen egg. i really really really love oden when i discovered it in japan and miss it sooo much~ this two oden we ordered are really nice and the portion is big for the price, definitely worth trying. salmon mentaiyaki and saba shioyaki are both yummy, but i find the salmon a little too oily. saba smells soooo good and the meat is really fresh. yakitori is pretty normal, the chicken cubes are juicy. the pork belly bowl is awesome with lots of meat, covering the cabbage and rice under it, the egg adds a smooth texture to the meat and the meat sauce smells awesome and is very appetizing, perfect with fluffy japanese rice.

it was a really really satisfying meal overall at a pretty reasonable price too. and i guess this is why the restaurant is so popular and packed even until last night.
