Who would throw the other in the pool: Kida.

Who is the better carer when the other is sick: Neither? Maybe Izaya, but really he just gets more clingy and likes it when Masaomi’s sick because the blond doesn’t have the strength to fight back so he gets a lot more snuggles and kisses.

Who would force the other to do extreme sports with them: Kida will suggest extreme sports, but not to be competitive, just so Izaya will do it, and maybe there’s a chance he’ll hurt himself or something.

Who would cook the better romantic dinner: Namie. Their romantic dinner is most definitely not sitting on Izaya’s couch, and watching anime.

Who would build the blanket fort in the living room: Izaya, but Kida would be pretty excited as well and want to help although he’ll keep saying he doesn’t want to build anything with Izaya.

Who would have the best holiday ideas: Mn. Probably Kida for most creative? Izaya usually has Namie do the shopping.

Who would need to clean out the other’s stuff to make room for their own: Even if Kida had a bigger room (which it didn’t look like he did or a lot of stuff?), I think Izaya’s one flat (out of three) has more than enough space for Kida’s stuff and Izaya has three apartments, so?

My shipper goggles says he is. I know in reality he isn't, but for the sake of my sanity that has been craving Izaomi for quite a with nothing to appease, I'll interpret it as bitter jealousy. And yes, Kida punching Izaya! I also need that~

Yes, yes, of course. The Izaomi shippers take what we can get. They could fight until they were all sweaty, and it would turn into some hot sex. Anyways... Unfortunately, there won't be much interaction between them during the first cour. There is some awkward Masaomi/Saki that we can feed off of, though; it just reinforces the headcanon that they're closer to friends than lovers.

Ahhh, that line is more than I could have hoped! I know it’s just my shipper goggles, but Izaya sounds slightly bitter at the end of that. He’s just being a dick as usual, though

Hm, does he? I think it could definitely be interpreted in that way. Yeah, he's clearly jealous. I’m really excited for when they interact again.

And how is the Izaomi looking for volume 7? I want to start reading the novels, and even though I know it's not canon (damn it), I'm getting my hopes up for more interactions between them.

There was only a short phone call, mentioning of him and Saki going to his place for a few hours, and a little bit of interaction on the chat boards in Volume 6. The prologue of volume 7 was about Izaya, but everything afterwords (so far) is only about the Awakusu-kai and the relationship of Seiji/Mika/Namie. I'm hoping things will be better in the next one. There was a cute line Izaya said to Masaomi on the phone in Volume 6, though:

“Yah, it’s you. What’s up? Dialing me up all of a sudden. I thought we were already done talking this morning. Or are you slowly falling in love with my voice? If that’s indeed the reason, your love would be a tad too heavy on my shoulders. Quite frankly, I don’t have the time to provide you with comfort either. How about you go to Saki-chan instead? I’m sure she’ll drown you with the comfort you need.”
