A Waiting Game
@izousaito
This corner of the Dark Kingdom is a quiet, freezing one - as cold as the ice wielded by the man current at work. His hands busy, one with tools and one with clay, he is ignoring his unexpected, uninvited guest with the absent-minded air of a man who hasn't noticed he has company.
It's a front, of course. One didn't stay alive in the Dark Kingdom by failing to keep aware of one's surroundings. But it is better to be underestimated than to be considered a threat, especially when it comes to this particular uninvited guest, a man as crafty as a fox and unpredictable as a horde of wasps.
And so Jadeite remains silent, focusing on the youma he will shape from this clay, confident that Zoisite's shallow reservoir of patience would run dry long before his own.
