Some of my favorite Mavericks throughout the series. Some of which pretty innocent, I might add.

Some of the X3, X5, and X6 Mavericks made it really uncomfortable to end their existence. Like Doppler had that vaccine, but they never tried to copy it, so Squid Adler died a pointless death.

An illustration done for a Mega Man X Series collab over on Discord and Twitter. It was a lot of fun trying to figure out how to do neon glow lighting with this cranky science guy. I don’t know about you guys, but in X5, they’re always gonna be the Guns N’ Roses members to me!

Izzy Glow

Izzy Glow, known in Japan as Shining Firefly (シャイニング・ホタルニクス), is a Maverick Hunter designed after the Firefly. He's one of the original eight from Megaman X5, and one of the rhythm guitarists for the Baboonz. Personality: This little bug was always quite the recluse, and while a technical genius, never liked working with others. So he wasn't too thrilled with the fact that he had to work with Maverick Hunters at all. In fact, the only reason he enlisted was as a showing of mutual defense. However, he did find solace in Squid Adler, a fellow peace-lover, and was assured a private work area so as to prevent the Earth's destruction. Not only that, but he found peace as a bandmate with Adler and six others called the Baboonz. Strengths: Flash Laser- In his abdomen, there's a specially designed prism meant to do one of two things. The first is help illuminate dark areas, and the other is as a defensive weapon in emergencies. Light Armor Weaknesses: Twin Slasher- This one's kind of obvious, what with his claws being sharp enough to slice through almost anything, including his webs.
