Now on to the Timelines issue. More below the cut.

Why do Reploids need beds? Why is X's room so messy? Usually in the games, they rest in stasis pods. No explanation for this, which is a shame cuz it could've been some good world building about Reploids trying to emulate human behavior and customs.

I absolutely HATE the bottom panel. Why do the generic Reploids look like recolors of X? Look, I know there's that one quote from SENSEI in the Official Complete Works regarding the generic Reploids at the end of X5:

"The Reploids that appear in the ending are X's followers, so I made their body designs very simple. As I was drawing them, I wondered if X looked like this when he was at their level. My simple designs became quite popular among the staff, where the most common comment was, 'I love how they look like cheap knock-offs!' (laughs)" (Suetsugu)

But even then, they still looked unique from X. X5 isn't the only case. You see this in Command Mission, X7, X6, and MHX. Hell, even Archie had unique designs of their own. There's literally no excuse for this, and the fact that Dan tried justifying it as "palette swaps of X" is lazy and disingenuous at best. Especially when he tauts himself as this "big Megaman history and lore guy". Read the transcripts in ShadowRockZX's interviews to see exactly what I mean.

This is exactly interesting. Too bad it doesn't last long (like two pages).

Aside from X looking weird as hell, this is good lore expansion. But again, it's interrupted in favor of retelling the exact events in play-by-play style of X1.

Chill Penguin going Maverick cuz he's bored and not because he hates X for being "high and mighty" is so damn lazy. His characterization sucks here, and is the exact problem I highlighted earlier about Dan wanting this to be based on MHX, yet doing his own thing and taking elements from X1.

X's face is so weird in the third panel. Ugh. I'm so put off by this art. Thank God they replaced the artist for the rest of the issues. Though that isn't saying much when we get to issue #2. You'll see what I mean.

Yeah, that's it for now. I don't know how this book out sold the other Timelines issues, especially since Ian Flynn is a much better writer than Dan Arseneault (he wrote the Zero Timelines issue).

yes.... yes I do. I cant even pick just one.

Ill try to make this easy to list, but I have so many head cannons and love for all these maverick babies. DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE MAIN BOSSES AND MINI BOSSES!!! Ill format it like this so its easier to read: Maverick Name [Why I like them] Headcannon.

Red Alert [I love X7] - After the fall of Repliforce and then the destruction of Eurasia Red found himself alone with a world desperate for help. Needing more help than what the maverick hunters could provide. On pride alone Red refused to join the hunters, instead creating Red Alert instead with a couple friends. Along the way they gained more members and eventually became a found family. Red adores his family and has a small inside joke with the older members where they would call each other "Mother dear/ dearest" and "Papa Dear". Red was often called mom since he kept Red Alert up and running.

Flame Henyard [ Hes just has chronic pain that makes it hard to function and as someone who has chronic pain due to an injury I vibe with him alot] - I think Flame Henyard always was in some stage of pain, but he was able to cope better before Sigma started to interact with Red Alert. Due to his weaker immune system from the pain I think he was the first to fall victim to Sigma. Flame Hyenard used to be a big softy and would advocate for the younger members to not push themselves. He also always had snacks on hand and made a mean spicy trail mix that Axl still craves to this day. Ride Boarski [ I like how he gets all breathy when hes angry. totally was in a cringy motorcycle gang] - This guy totally is an avid moonshine brewer and whenever Red wasnt looking hed have Axl try some of his batches. Always under the saying "Get some hair on your chest". This has lead to Axl being able to drink most of the maverick hunters under the table and given him an envy and dream to have more body hair than the small stubbly hairs he does get (AXL HAS NAMED HIS TWO CHEST HAIRS AND IS EMOTIONALLY ATTACHED TO THEM). Ride Boarski also loves retro ridechasers and works on them despite him not really needing one.

Burn Rooster [ Angry chicken make brain go brrrrr] -Burn Rooster has a firey passion for righting injustice and once seeing what his job consisted of at the waste facility he became so angry at the system and the world he went to extremes to fight back. Because of having the DNA of all other reploids when he saw and had to dispose of the corpses he swears he can actually hear their voices and cries. This is what leads to his joining of the rebellion. Despite his ideals he doesn't want the eradication of the humans, he just wants equality and fairness.

Giga Man-o-War ["Liver Breath!!!". Is one of the few reploids with a partial gel-likeness to their body] - Giga Man-o-War is just a kid mentally. Not unheard of when it comes to some of the people that are manipulated and pulled in by Sigma. In the city he comes from- Megalopolis- All the arcades have Giga as the #1 spot of top scores under the code "MOWG". He became mute due to bullying and no one really wanting to be his friend in Megalopolis.

Sting Chameleon [ Was my older siblings favorite stage and maverick and I have many fond memories of watching them defeat sting chameleon] - Sting Chameleon loved being a nuisance with his tounge, stealing e-tanks, and snacks from a long distance always gave him a whir of glee. his favorite stealth prank was long distance wet willies... Which didnt end well most of the time due to him laughing so hard he'd give away his position. He pulled this prank on Zero. Once.....

Chill Penguin ["HaaACK". I say this with endearment and love. Hes such a little bastard] - Chill penguin loved the idea of soup and would always heat up his e-tanks before consuming them. He also had the feat *Fury of the small* and would use his sliding technique to trip up any tall person who disrespected him. Chill penguin also loved the beach and hated the south pole. He was also confused about how human children would send Christmas letters to the south pole base for Santa.

Warafu [Bioroid.] - His life was short and filled with pain and confusion. Despite all that he still was able to love and care for his human friend Mika. When he died he dreamed of being able to grow and tend to a massive flower garden with his friend. A more peaceful life where he could heal and walk away from the pain he had known. Later after his death Mika grew up creating a flower sanctuary and shop that was tended to by her and her children later in the future. eventually combining their studies of plant life and gardening into eventually creating Noah's park and restoration plans post- Eurasia.

Magma Dragoon [ Hands are thrown. Hands are not spared. Magma Dragoon is throwing you in the air] - Despite his faults Magma Dragoon inspired several reploids down the line to better work on their hand to hand combat skills even with the abolishment of the 14th unit. Like Burn rooster's kick attack.

I have more head cannons, but I think I've talked your ear off already.
