What are your greatest imperfections?
"Jesus Christ where do I start. I have horse teeth. My jaw's a bit too long--fuck it, altogether I have horse-face. Get on my level. I could also do with more toning. Oh, and there's the whole 'ego' thing people tell me I have. Also I use 'hashtag' in conversations. And I've had a cramp in my back for the past two days. Does that about cover it or should I keep yammering?"
What brings you joy?
"Ishmael. Coffee. Jade. Chocolate. Jade's entire family and friend group, shit. I love them. Movies. Musicals. Bluebirds of happiness. Instagram. Fresh air when Winter's coming in. Scarves. Scarves you can share. Reaching my goals. A beach day. A good run. Nailing your part; lines, et cetera. There's a lot more where those came from."
Would people say that you are intimidating or fairly approachable?
-smiles smugly.- "I like to think it depends on how I present myself. Most of the time I'm approachable. But if I don't want to be approached, trust me: I'll give you some serious fuck-off vibes."
Are you an easy person to anger?
"Between alleged Irish and fuck-if-I-know background, I would say yes. But I cool off pretty easily. I don't hold any grudges, that's just--not me."

Does your character have any tattoos, piercings, scarification, or other intentional body modifications? If so, do they have any special personal or cultural meaning? If they don’t have any, do they want any?
He has pierced ears but he rarely puts in his studs. He'd like to gauge them but he knows that'd "lessen" his value as an actor (in his opinion). He tries to keep his body a clean canvas to be used for any interchangeable roles.
How does your character show affection towards other people, if at all?
Brazen displays of public affection. Ballads sung in the shower, stairwell, or street. Copious amounts of magic. Unbelievable barrages of gifts, as much as he can possibly afford. Also overdramatic text messages about how great the recipient is.
Just for Fun: If your character were a big-time Hollywood star, how would they react to fame?
"It's my destiny, you know. I'm kind of prepared for it."
Just for Fun: Your character hits the jackpot lottery and is suddenly a millionaire. What’s their first purchase?
Pays off school debts up front. Uses the rest of the money to get Robin some help, anonymously donates to Jade's family, gets Angel something pretty, surprises Ishmael with their first house, together, if he's okay with it. And the rest he saves for a rainy day and for people who need it. He'd probably also donate some funds to the Thornton Theater and places of performance like it (be it Lani's hula classes or something in the performing arts category). Also to the Catholic orphanage that brought him up as a kid before he entered the system completely.
Is your character happy with the place that they live? If not, what don’t they like about it? Are they trying to leave? Would they be able to if they did try?
He thinks it's too small. But he's happy to live in it with Ishmael. He's looking into slightly bigger places and worrying about finances, but. It'll be a while till he lands anything nicer, simply due to being, u kno. A broke actor kid.

1. What makes them happy? What do they think would make them happy?
Izzy's current happiness is thanks in part to his friends, minor successes, and getting to know and use his powers a little more. He thinks the complete understanding and/or harnessing his gifts, as well as becoming a famous actor/director, would fulfill him completely. He's not out looking for true love or wealth. He just wants to be seen and known, and to feel comfortable in his own skin. Family and knowing his origins isn't on the table anymore, either. He still doesn't believe he and Robin are related, after all--and there's a chance he never might. So he's starting to come to terms with the fact that his happiness/happy ending isn't determined by figuring out his family. And he isn't pursuing love or wealth because this is the most in love and wealthiest he's ever been. The latter isn't much, but it's hard to care when you have what really matters (Jade, Ish, and others).
6. How well do they keep promises or commitments? Do they expect the same of others?
Izzy almost always keeps his promises. Hence why he visits Robin 2-3 times a week and never skips out on date plans with Ish. Izzy does not, however, expect the same from other people--mostly because he's been burned so much in the past. You get used to it, after a while.
15. What are their blind spots or biases? (Do they know about them?)
Izzy has very few of those. He's a little too cynical for that sort of thing. But he tends to ignore or bypass his friends' flaws and/or complications. Like Ish's Nightmare-isms, or Robin's problematic mental space. Mostly it's a reflection of himself--Izzy will always pretend everything is fine until it absolutely interferes with his life, and, therefore, is 100% not fine at all.

2:Would you rather be caught in a thunderstorm without an umbrella or a snowstorm without boots?
"A thunderstorm without an umbrella, duh. You'd probably die or lose a toe or something in a snowstorm without boots. I don't really dig the cold to begin with. New York in general fucking sucked that way."
3:Let's say you have access to a time machine, but it can only go either backward or forward. One or the other. Which do you choose and where do you go?
"...I'd go meet my mom, straight up. I never got to, so it's only fair, right? It makes sense...and--yeah, I've seen Meet the Robinsons, but I'd still try to do it."
9:You're the sole witness to a Mafia murder. Witness protection has to set you up with a whole new life in a totally new country. You have to leave everything behind, but you can pick where you move to. Where do you go?
"Jeeeeez. Okay, um. I guess I'd pick Paris? The film scene out there is pretty good. I might still get parts. My French is shit, though--but hey, magic powers. Maybe I can just. Magic myself some super-awesome Parisian French skills real quick...that or Los Angeles, I guess."
31:If you were invisible for a day, what would you do?
-stoically looks at the imaginary fourth wall, rubbing his chin.- "Everything. Sex with Ishmael: invisible. Dyeing Jade's hair pink: invisible. Pretending to be a ghost to scare Jade's sister: invisible. And so much more."
"No--Chef Boyarde is the name of a--" meekly trailing off as Mal deposited the bowl of popcorn into his lap, Izzy sighed faintly and rested his head against the other's briefly, closing his eyes and admitting defeat with a little breath of laughter. "Brand." Shaking his head, Izzy gingerly began to detach himself from the d'jinn, he rose to his feet, cradling popcorn. "I'll swing by the day after tomorrow, okay, Mal? And--if you need me--" He offered him a piece of paper with his phone number.
Nodding, he took the offered paper and twirled it in his figures to analyze the new gift his visitor was going to leave with him. Numbers. "Thank you, Izzy." He really wasn't sure what the numbers were supposed to do, but he figured that the other man was allotted his own oddities. Either way, Mal would stash it away for now and maybe show it off to Djamel along with all the other interesting things Izzy had left with them. "Come back soon."
"No--you can have all of it," Izzy started to say, pushing Mal's hand gently back to himself with a shaky, somewhat-forced smile. "You deserve to experience it. Besides, I gorged myself on Chef Boyarde earlier. Which is totally gourmet." The half-d'jinn rubbed his face tiredly, looking away from his maybe-uncle in a moment of terse silence. "I should probably get going soon, though, but--I promise I'll visit you. Every other day, if that's okay. I'm still job-hunting. Busy busy."
Shrugging, Mal continued snacking, brows creasing in concentration. "You ate...a chef?" He blinked a few times, before shrugging again. "That's a little weird, Izzy." His shoulder's tensed at the man's announcement and his gaze fell soon after. "Oh. That...is okay." The d'jinn munched on a few more kernels and then deposited the bag on Izzy's lap. "You can have it for later, so you don't have to eat anymore chefs."
