Inktober 2019, Day 6! I know, I know, I missed a few days! But I promised I’d have some new pieces instead of revisiting old ones, so here we are! This is actually a commission from the insanely talented Izzy Spring (follow her on @fizzyspringmusic on instagram! She’s a fantastic singer)! I also thought it would be kind of neat to show my art process. We go from my initial pencil sketch, to the final inks, to the flat grayscale coloring, to the shaded grayscale coloring, to the flat colors, and then the combining of the shadowed grayscale and the flat colors and finished piece (where I do another few passes to tighten up the colors, highlights, color balance, etc). This was a lot of fun to do, so thank you, Izzy for giving me the opportunity to continue to work on my art!
