he was pissed. you could tell just from watching the post race interviews. you could basically feel his anger radiating through the tv. it would only be a couple of hours until he gets to the hotel room, seeking you out.
a couple hours later, the door opens and slams shut. you sat on the couch, waiting for him. he drops his bag by the door, anger seething off of him.
“it’s just fucking unfair. i did exactly what george did and canada and got punished. george didn’t get punished for it,” he angrily says, taking his shoes off. you smile softly at him, not saying anything. he stalks towards you, taking in how you look. an oversized sweatshirt of his hangs off your body, nothing underneath other than a pair of soft cotton panties.
“10 seconds was extreme,” you start, “but you did practically break check max. i know you wanted to fight lan for the win, but baby you’re still leading the championship. and that is what matters.”
“it’s just fucking stupid. why me? they didn’t do it to any of the others that have done it before. is it because i’m championship lead? what is it?” he rambles, rubbing his hand down his face. you sigh lightly, heart breaking at the sight of him. he’s pissed, stressed, and annoyed. he’s pissed at race control, stressed because of the championship, and annoyed with the team.
“osc, just come here,” you say, leaning forward on your knees. you open your arms, pulling his body into yours on the couch. you collapse back, your body pressing against the cushion with his pressing to your front. he kisses you, not necessarily a kiss of love but a kiss of passion and lust. his tongue swipes your lips, asking for permission which you grant. you moan into his mouth, feeling him press down against you.
his lips leave yours, making their way down your neck, teeth scraping and lightly biting. you lightly gasp as his cold hands make their way under the sweatshirt, feeling your skin. they float up to your breasts, squeezing them. his thumbs runs over your nipples, making them perk up. you groan, hands scratching down his back.
“you’re so fucking perfect for me baby. letting me take this out on you,” he murmurs between kisses down your neck. he grabs your waist, pulling you up as he carries you to the bed. he tosses you on to the bed, which is unlike he usual gentleness that he uses with you.
he pulls off the sweatshirt, groaning at the sight of you in just a pair of little white panties, the crotch dark with a wet mark of your excitement. he leans down slowly, kissing the spot. you whine, bucking your hips towards his face.
“patience. i want to take my time and enjoy this,” oscar says, kissing up your stomach. his mouth reaches your chest, nibbling on your left breast. his hand tweaks your right nipple, making you arch into him. he chuckles, sucking your left nipple into his mouth, swirling his tongue around it. you whimper, threading your fingers into his hair, tugging at it.
"oscar please," you whine, pushing your hips against his. you can feel his hard cock, straining against his shorts. he lightly grinds his hips against yours, making your hips jerk. he chuckles at your whines and begging. he pulls away from your chest, bringing his mouth to yours. he bites at your lip, pulling it between his teeth.
“so pretty. so good for me,” he says, licking over your lip where he had bit so hard that it bled. his hand slips between your legs, pushing your panties down. he kisses down your body, making his way to your cunt.
he kisses the inside of your thigh, nibbling on it a little as your legs attempt to squeeze around him. he forces them back open, spreading your legs open like an all you can eat buffet. and eat he did.
he slowly sticks his tongue out, dragging it across your cunt. you moan, shifting your hips, trying to fuck up into his face. he pushes your hips back down with a groan, his eyes rolling back at the taste of you. the licks on your cunt are slow, soft, and warm. he gently sucks on your clit, tongue swirling around your clit. his fingers gently prod at your entrance, but not enough to slip in, no matter how much you try to fuck yourself down on to his fingers.
“you need it that bad, huh baby?” he asks, smirking as he pulls away. he leans in again, tongue diving in between your folds. he moans, lapping at your cunt like a dog thirsty for water. he pulls back, you whine at the loss but it’s quickly replaced by his fingers prodding your hole.
he makes quick work of slipping two of his fingers in, scissoring them. you try to push yourself further down on his fingers, but he holds your hips down so you can’t. the only thing you can do is take it. he adds another finger until he’s reaching that spot inside you that makes your stomach get tight, the coil tightening.
“os,” you moan, “gonna cum.” he flicks his tongue against your clit, the coil snapping for the first time in the night as you cry out his name, your release gushing on his fingers and face. he doesn’t stop, he continues until you’re crying.
“is it too much baby?” he asks condescendingly adding, “i think you can take more.” when you nod your head. he pulls away from you. he strips, his dick is hard, his entire body flushed as he stands over you.
he lines himself up with your entrance, looking to you for consent before pushing himself in. he groans, swearing under his breath. he doesn’t give you long to adjust, gasping under him as he starts a brutal pace. you moan loudly, squeezing around him.
"you're so good for me baby. always taking what i give you," he murmurs in your ear, nipping at it. you whine, grinding your hips into his thrusts. the room is filled with the two of you moaning and groaning as well as the sound of your juices leaking, squelching as he moves his hips. he pulls out before slamming into you again.
"please," you whine, hands gripping his biceps. he chuckles, sweat dripping off his forehead on to you.
"please what?" he grunts, voice rough in your ear. the sound of skin slapping reverberates off the walls of the room, your pussy squelching around his dick.
"too much," you whine, squeezing around him. he groans, speeding up. he pulls out, flipping you over so your on your hands and knees, before drilling himself back into you. his hand reaches around to play with your clit. you whine, moaning and squirming in his arms as he pulls your body back against his. his dick is reaching new places inside you, your vision going white as you moan around him.
"but your cunt just keeps pulling me in," he chuckles darkly, "so it's obviously not too much. you want more." he grunts, groaning against your spine, teeth dragging down your back.
"osc-ah fuck i'm gonna cum," you mumble almost incoherently. your moans increase in speed and pitch as his hips and hand speed up.
"let go," he grunts, groaning into your spine. his hips move at an insane pace, shaking you like entire body. the beds hitting the wall with the force of his thrusts.
the pleasure is blinding, toe curling as you cum around him. he follows not too much longer, stilling deep inside of you, filling you with his cum. you can feel him pulsing inside you as it spills out. he pulls out, watching the mixture of your juices combined leak out. he uses his thumb to try to push it back in, mumbling something about not wanting to waste it.
you’re so sensitive and twitching when he touches you, body jerking away from his touch. he places a soft kiss on your spine.
“you did so good for me, baby,” oscar says, brushing his thumb on your hip. his face nestles into your neck, breathing the smell of sweat and love. “i’m gonna clean you up, okay?”
you’re mumbling incoherently to him, body worn down and used. he pulls away, quickly going to the bathroom to get a towel. you whine as he wipes at your folds, tears continuing to flow down your face. you cough out a sob as he pulls away from you, wiping himself off.
“i know baby. i’m sorry, sweet girl,” he says, lightly lifting you so he can put some clothes on you. he shushes you softly as he pulls a pair of boxers on you, followed by an oversized tshirt. he gently lays you back on the bed, moving quickly to pull a pair of boxers on himself.
“os,” you mumble, reaching for him. he nods, laying next to you, pulling you into his arms. he places soft kisses on your head, tucking it close to his chest. his thumb wipes away the tears that slip down your cheeks, signs that maybe he went a little too far.
“i’m sorry baby, i love you so much. you did so good. you’re so perfect for me,” he quietly says, rubbing your back as you lay in his arms.
“i love you too,” you say, voice almost gone, broken. he kisses your forehead, reassuring you that you’re okay and he loves you. that’s how the night ends, you in his arms, him piecing you back together.
i screamed with and without the s and i need to know how you feel about these pics.

daniel stands beside you, watching out over the fields as the clouds roll in. the humid air is sticky around you, sweat clinging to every part of you. he glances over at you to gage your reaction. he finally agreed to let you chase with him.
“you don’t have to. you can still back out,” he says, a small challenging smirk on his lips.
“i’m not a chicken. let’s go,” you say, locking back at him with a wide smile as you lightly push his shoulder, making your way back to the truck. he chuckles, shaking his head as he slowly follows behind.
“pato and lando are joining us. they said they didn’t wanna miss your first chase,” he tells you. you groan slightly, reaching into the floorboard for the camera.
“why would you tell them?” you ask, fidgeting with the settings. you flip the camera around and take a picture of yourself, marking your first chase.
“they’re my team. which hopefully you’ll be a part of after this,” he says the last part a bit quieter, smiling softly at you in his passenger seat. you smile back at him, before taking a picture of him.
daniel starts up the truck, the cab filling with the sound of the engine and some old johnny cash. he hums along as he makes his way towards pato and lando’s apartment.
the drive isn’t long, just enough for you to be able to sit with your thoughts, collecting yourself. you couldn’t believe you were doing this. you had watched people storm chase for years, including danny. and here you are next to him, about to head into a storm.
“are you so excited?” pato asks, throwing himself into the backseat, claiming the spot behind daniel. you roll your eyes, chuckling at him.
“or are you shitting yourself?” lando asks, jumping into the seat behind you. you reposition yourself so your back is against the window and you can look at the boys in the back. you hold the camera up, taking pictures of them. you want to remember this feeling forever. the anxiety of not knowing what’s going to happen.
“i’m perfectly fine,” you say, rolling your eyes as you return to sitting normal. daniel gets the live stream rolling, the cameras around the trunk starting to record.
it’s 4:28 and you’re in the middle of oklahoma, about 30 miles out of oklahoma city. pato had been watching the weather system. he was watching how the winds push against each other from different directions mixing with the heat and moisture, combining to make the perfect conditions for a supercell.
you’re heading closer into el reno, where it happens there are many other storm chasers waiting for go time. you watch as danny and the boys chat, explaining the plans if something touches down in certain places. you notice it before they do.
“danny. the sky,” you say, hitting his arm. he turns to look out your window, seeing a funnel beginning to form in the distance. he quickly pulls over to watch it form. in minutes it’s on the ground.
“multivortex,” he says, turning to you. “you usually can’t tell, the subvorticies usually look so close due to debris hiding inside that it appears as one. but damn this thing is huge.”
“what’s the plan?” you ask, kinda nervous as you fiddle with the camera. he smiles at you, throwing the car into drive.
“we’re gonna chase it, baby,” he’s already feeling the adrenaline of being close to a storm hit him and you can tell. you nod, preparing yourself to get photos for him. pato and lando cheer in the back as daniel pulls back onto the road, heading in the direction of the storm.
“it’s heading southeast,” lando says, watching the radar with pato.
“moving at an estimated 20mph,” pato says, looking out the window.
“it’s going towards el reno, we can just follow it, right?” you ask, glancing around the car. lando and pato are looking at each other with sly, knowing smiles.
“we’re getting in front of it. outrace it,” lando says, chucking. you nod, slowly, turning back around.
“only issue is there are multiple rotations that are forming within that damn wedge,” pato says, leaning his screen into the front seat, letting you look at the radar. you look outside, seeing the massive wedge. daniel’s flying down back roads, reaching reno road and driving beside it.
“fuck. we’re in a bad spot,” lando starts, “there’s multiple sub-vortices around that thing. we gotta get out of here.”
“daniel get out of here now,” pato yells watching both on the radar and out the window as the sub-vortices push the main wedge north. straight for daniel’s truck.
“i’m gonna go north, push further north. maybe run alongside it,” daniel says, whipping his truck to the left. he floors it, pushing as far as he can. you watching the black funnel get further away. it suddenly starts to head south again, heading towards the east.
“it turned back south, heading east at over 50 miles per hour. are we going to try to intercept?” pato says, watching out the back window. daniel sits quiet for a moment.
“what do you think, darling?” daniel asks, looking towards you. you freeze, looking out the window.
“fuck it. let’s go,” you say, turning towards daniel.
“that’s how we do it baby! let’s go,” he throws it in gear, making his way to the highway, where the tornado would be crossing at some point soon.
“slight issue, it’s expanded to two miles in width. we either need to floor it south to try to get out it’s path or hope we can outrun it going east,” pato says. daniel stops to think for a moment.
“south seems safest,” he says, glancing around the car to gage everyone’s reaction. pato shrugs, slightly nodding.
“the issue is we could head south and get caught by it. we don’t know the wind speed in there. do we want to take that risk?” lando asks, drawing everyone’s attention to the growing storm outside the truck.
“daniel? what do you think?” you ask, looking at the australian.
“i say we gun it south,” he mutters, watching the storm move. you nod, glancing at the boys in the back.
“okay. south it is,” you say, watching as the wind whips the grass and trees around you. daniel is flooring it down the highway, but still it feels like you’re not going anywhere.
“we’re not in a good spot,” pato says, harnessing himself into the backseat. hail is falling, denting the truck. the winds feel as though they’re coming up under the truck. and then it happens.
“danny, why aren’t we moving?” you ask, fear riddling your body. his hand grabs yours. you can hear debris hitting the truck as lando’s putting his harness on.
“put your harness on sweetheart. we’re gonna be okay,” daniel says, tightening his. you refuse to let go of his hand, so he has to help you to buckle the harness. you feel the truck start to lift from the force of the winds.
“daniel,” you say, tears clouding your vision, “i love you. so much. more than i should.”
“i know,” he says, nodding. his hand tightening in yours. the truck starts to tilt. pato and lando and trying their best to film the storm, your window busts due to the wind and debris, grazing you. you can feel the wind hitting your face, dirt and debris flying into the car.
the truck flies off the road, flipping. it flips more than once, landing in a field on its roof. the core of the storm hasn’t even reached the truck yet. the worst is yet to come.
your hand grips daniel's tighter, tears slipping down your face as you look at him. dirt clouds your vision, but you're pretty sure you can see him crying too.
"is everyone okay?" lando asks from the backseat, gripping onto daniel's headrest. you can hear pato say something in response but the only thing you can do is watch as the core lands on top of the truck.
"daniel, if this is it, i need you to know something. i have loved you for years. since we met, you've always been on my mind. the first i think about in the mornings and the last i think about at night. i dream about you almost every night. you don't have to say anything, i just needed you to know," you say, the air getting thin around you. he doesn't say anything, just squeezes your hand tightly. the air is still, thin. eerie as the wind picks up around the core.
"we're gonna be okay, we'll get out of this. i promise," daniel says, his eyes meeting yours for the first time since the truck flipped. his cheeks wet with tears, dirt and sweat caking his skin. his eyes are sad as they look over you.
the core passes and you're hit with the second wind; the backside of the storm. the car moves in the force of the wind, flipping one last time. you can't see anything going on around you, just a cloud of dust, dirt, and debris swirling the car. then nothing. an empty field, littered with debris.
"we're okay, it's okay," pato says, unharnessing himself, desperate to get out of the tornado destroyed car. lando follows him, beginning to look in the field for others, knowing you weren't alone on the road.
"sweetheart, look at me," daniel says, reaching for your face. the sight of blood causes him to curse under his breath. he quickly unharnesses himself, getting out of the truck to run to your side. he undoes your harness, soft eyes looking into yours the whole time.
"danny, what's wrong? tell me the truth," you say, adrenaline pumping through you. he lets out a soft sigh, gently shaking his head.
"you have a couple lacerations, but we're gonna get you taken care of. come on," he says, gently helping you out of the truck. grass is scattered, torn up from its places in the ground. telephone poles are down, fences and pieces of homes and cars litter the field.
"it's still moving erratically. if it continues east, it'll hit oklahoma city. traffic is at a standstill due to chasers and residents trying to flee," pato says, watching his radar. daniel sighs, running a hand through his hair.
“there’s nothing we can do,” he says, pulling you closer into his body. “she’s hurt. gotta get her to the hospital.”
as they’re debating how to get that done, a fleet of chasers stop to help, quickly jumping into action to access you and the others. they offer you a ride to the closet er, which daniel accepts for you, graciously. the ride there is filled with daniel chatting with the other team, exchanging stories while you try to keep yourself from panicking as the adrenaline wears off.
“danny,” you mumble, “i’m tired.”
“i know sweet girl, but we’re almost there. i need you to stay awake. focus on my voice,” he says, brushing your hair back off your face. your eyes are glassy and your vision hazed. his thumbs wipe at your cheeks, getting more dirt on your face. he forces you to look him in the eyes.
“i love you,” you say, his eyes softening as he hears the words.
“i love you too,” he says, placing a soft kiss to your forehead. he holds you close to his chest, in the backseat of a speeding storm chasing truck, hoping to make it to the hospital in time.
ੈ✩‧₊˚
“hey sweet girl, there you are,” daniel says, smiling gently at you. he’s holding your hand in his, thumb brushing over your knuckles. “gave us quite the scare. the doctors got you all patched up and some extra units of blood in you, just incase.”
“thank you,” you say, eyes welling up with tears. he looks at you confused. “thank you for showing me what it’s like to be human. for not leaving me.”
“oh sweet girl, you’re never going to get rid of me, no matter how hard you try. you’re stuck with me forever,” he chuckles, brushing hair off your forehead.
“she awake?” lando asks, popping his head in. he smiles, walking further into the room with pato trailing behind him.
“there she is!” pato exclaims, wrapping his arms around you, gently. lando lightly pats your shin with a gentle smile.
“they said you had a couple forehead and upper arm lacerations and a fractured wrist,” lando says, sitting down on the bed by your feet. you look at your arms, seeing bandages wrapped around most of your right forearm.
“don’t worry, i’ll nurse you back to health,” daniel says with a wink. you smile, knowing that you’re safe with him, despite what you just went through.
“i love you,” you murmur, a small smile on your face.
“i love you more baby,” daniel replies, sliding into the small bed next to you.

Jeddah 2024
My dress feels too tight, hugging my figure tighter than I hoped for. The dark green dress has a slit that goes almost to my crotch, but stops just a little before. Logan had to zip the side zipper up for me, a usual job of his when team dinners come about. Except this time I'll be with McLaren and not Williams. I stare at myself in the mirror, hating everything about the way I look. I pinch my sides through the dress, turning side to side.
"Calliope Jamison quit that before I call mom," Logan says from the bed, causing me to jump. I honestly forgot he was here. I figured he had left.
"Sorry," I murmur, leaning in close to the mirror to finish my makeup. I hear Logan sigh as he pushes himself up off the bed. He appears behind me in the mirror.
"You know you're able to call me tonight or anything happens, right?" Logan asks, leaning on the doorframe. His head is tilted to the side as he watches me move.
"Yes Logan, I know. I'm just scared of what people are going to say. This is literally us going official publicly," I say, wiping at the lip gloss that missed my lip. He sighs, running a hand through his hair. I turn around, signaling that I'm done and he smiles at me.
"Heel time?" he asks, softly grinning at me. I nod, buttoning his shirt up one more button, threes too much. He swats at my hand.
"Quit it. You'll look like a slut in front of Alex and Lily," I say, groaning as he unbuttons the button I had just buttoned. I grab my heels, walking towards the bed, where I sit comfortably on the edge. Logan kneels in front of me, buckling my heels for me. Once he finishes with that, he pulls me up off the bed, helping my stabilize myself.
"I love you, have a good night. Call me when you get back here or if you need me," Logan lectures me, pulling me into a hug. I chuckle, hugging him back.
"Yes dad," I say sarcastically, "I love you too Lo. If you're back before me, let me know." I pull away from the hug, patting him on the back. He heads out of the room with a final goodbye, while I sit and wait for Oscar to let me know he's here.
After about 10 minutes of scrolling on Instagram, Oscar texts me that he's outside. I grab my clutch and head out the room. My hair is curled and in a half up half down ponytail, the ends resting on top of my breasts. The ponytail part sways as I walk towards the lobby, my hips matching the way the ponytail sways. I spot his McLaren just outside the doors, the Australian standing next to the open passenger door. His white dress shirt is tucked neatly into his slacks. The sleeves are slightly rolled up, exposing his watch, which he keeps glancing at as I approach him.
"You clean up nice," I chuckle, looking him up and down. He grabs my hand, helping lower me into the car without flashing anyone. I tightly pull the slit over my leg, basically tucking it under my thigh.
"So do you," he replies with a grimace. I roll my eyes at him as he shuts the door, making his way around to the drivers seat. I buckle up, and shoot Logan a quick message that I was leaving. Oscar gets in, putting the car into drive. I watch out the window, playing with my fingers.
"If they ask: we met through Logan, we've been together for four months on the down low, you live with Logan but stay with me in Woking, and our first date was an aquarium," Oscar lists off 'information' about our relationship. I nod along, making mental notes of everything he says. The rest of the ride is pretty quiet, until we pull into the parking lot of the restaurant.
"One last thing; don't lie to me. If you don't want to do this or you want to leave, tell me. I don't like liars," he says sternly, putting the car into park. I nod, forcing a smile towards him. He gets out, walking around to help me out. I have my phone and clutch in one hand, Oscar's hand in my other. His hand is clenching, gripping mine as though I'm going to attempt to run away. We make our way to the front door of the restaurant, paparazzi and fans on every side of us.
After we push our way through the crowd, we make it inside. As though he's been here countless times, he leads me to a banquet hall where I'm met with the familiar faces of the papaya family. In moments, I lose the Australian. His hand is replaced by air, suffocating air. I know a lot of the papaya family, but not enough to be comfortable just being left alone with them.
"Oscar," I whisper, my eyes darting around the room, searching for the man who is the only reason I'm in this room with these people. My breathing quickens, my peripheral vision goes out of focus as I panic. A hand sneaks around my waist, and just based on the roughness of the hand, I know it's his.
"I'm here, Calliope," his voice is soft in my ear. I melt into the touch a bit, letting myself relax. For once I don't feel hate radiating off of him and his touch.
"Can we sit, please," I whisper, my head falling on his shoulder, placing my lips next to his ear. He nods, kicking my ankle a bit, telling me to walk. His face is red as he leads me to a spot in the middle of the table. I slide into the chair on the right of him, my hand instinctively reaching for my hair to play with. Oscar converses with the mechanics around him, Kym joining in at some point. I'm so lost in my mind, I don't even notice someone sit next to me.
"Callie, hey focus on me," Lando's voice is soft in my ear as he grabs my face. His eyes are full of worry as he examines my face. "You okay? You look like you're on a completely different planet." I softly nod, pulling my head away from his hand.
"Shall we get this dinner started boys?" Zak asks, approaching us at the table. Lando excitedly nods, causing me to giggle. "Oscar who's this with you?"
"This is Calliope, my girlfriend," Oscar says, grabbing my hand as I lay my head on his shoulder. I smile, waving shyly at Zak.
"Welcome to the family, Calliope! It's good to finally get properly introduced," Zak says, reaching to shake my hand. I gently shake his hand, smiling softly. He takes his seat at the head of the table, the chairs filling up around us. Everyone is excitedly talking about the season ahead, the car upgrades, and fighting for a championship. After about 15 minutes and around the time the appetizers start coming out, attention is turned to me.
"Calliope! How long have you been together with Oscar?" one of the media girls asks, sipping on her water.
"About four months," I say, smiling softly at the girl. They begin asking quite a few questions about Oscar and I until the entrées make their appearance. After eating a couple of bites, I fiddle with my food, watching around me as everyone else digs in. I push the food around with my fork, trying not to make it obvious.
"Eat. Food is important," Oscar whispers in my ear, watching me push around the food. I smile at him, cutting up the food, moving it around until it looks as though I've eaten quite a bit. I smile at him, nodding towards the big gap on the plate where there once was food. He nods, going back to his own food.
The rest of the dinner flys by as Oscar and Lando chat with the team, my presence fading into the background as I wait for Oscar to be ready to leave. He decides to take me back to the hotel before he goes to hang out with Lando after the dinner. I make my way into the hotel room, shooting Logan a message I was back at the hotel.
I wiggle my dress down, desperately trying to get out of my dress. I slide on some sleep shorts, pulling an oversized t-shirt on. I make my way to the bathroom, rubbing my palms down my face. I wipe off my makeup, feeling the dry eyeliner crack as I wipe at my eyes. I take down my hair, running a brush through it so it won't be tangled when I wake up. Yawning, I brush my teeth, ready to just curl up in bed. I plug in my phone, situating myself in bed. I curl up in the fetal position, a podcast playing on my phone. The room feels cold without Logans presence, a presence I'm used to in places like this. Eventually I fall asleep, cold surrounding me as I wait for Logan.
~-~ -~-
"Just know I'd rather be with my ex than with you right now," Oscar whispers in my ear as we walk into the paddock on Friday morning. His words hit like a brick wall, just reminding me that he hates me.
"Don't worry; I'd rather be with Daniel or Max. Maybe both," I whisper back, laying my head on his arm. His jaw ticks at what I said, but before he can reply we're surrounded. Fans scream at us, cameras flash. His hand grips mine tight, as though he's trying to break it. He stops to take photos with them, signing a couple things.
"Don't be a slut," he mumbles as we walk to the team hub. I feel my breath catch in my throat as I start coughing, trying to play off the fact that he just called me a slut.
"I do what I want," I smile cutely back at him, using my free hand to grab his arm. He smiles back at me, but it's very obviously for the cameras.
"Not when I'm around you don't," he replies through gritted teeth, straining his smile. I reach up, booping his nose before going back to looking in front of us. I can almost feel the hatred radiating off of him as we approach the motor home.
"What did I just watch?" Lando asks, leaning against the team hub. He gestures at Oscar and I, our previous actions baffling the poor boy.
"Just some friendly reminders," I say, my lips curling into a small smirk. I glance at Oscar, who's face is red with a clenched jaw. He nods, as Lando laughs.
"Yeah sure," Lando chuckles out, shaking his head. I let go of Oscar, entering the motor home, searching for something to drink. I wander around before coming upon a small kitchen with a large fridge of drinks. I grab a Monster, cracking open the can before heading back to the boys.
"When do you boys need to get ready for practice?" I ask as I plop into a seat across from Lando. He glances at his watch.
"About an hour from now," he says, laying his head back on the couch. I dramatically sigh, rolling my head back. Oscar shoots me a look, telling me to stop. I smile, dramatically sighing again. Lando pops his head up, looking over at me.
"What is your issue?" Oscar asks, his voice harsh. I look him in the eyes, a small smirk on my lips.
"You are, love," I say, sarcasm lacing my voice. His eyes glare daggers at me. Lando looks between us and sighs.
"If you don't stop acting like a br-," Oscar begins before Lando cuts him off.
"If you two don't shut the fuck up," Lando groans, rubbing his face with his palms. I chuckle, rolling my eyes. I pull my feet up onto the couch, pulling my knees to my chest. My head rests on my knees, closing my eyes. Sleep overtakes me as I listen to Lando and Oscar talk.
~-~ -~-
I rub my eyes, wiping the sleep from them. The team hub is basically empty as I look around. Someone had put a blanket over me, the soft voices of team personnel in the next room over tell me it was one of them. I shiver, pulling the blanket around my shoulders. I push myself up off the couch, walking to where the voices are.
"Are they off at free practice?" I quietly ask, looking around the room at the team members.
"Yes, they are! Are you doing okay?" Stephanie, one of the media girls, asks. I nod, rubbing at my face. She softly smiles at me. "Do you need a sweatshirt? There should be a could extras in Oscar's room."
"Yeah. Thank you," I say, smiling gently at her. I put the blanket back down on the couch, heading to Oscar's room. I grab a McLaren pullover, slipping it on. I make a mental note to give it back to Oscar before he drops me off. Walking to the garage, I'm met halfway by Oscar. He wraps an arm around my waist, pulling me close.
"Is that my sweater?" he whispers in my ear, slightly annoyed. I look up at him, cocking my head to the side.
"Is that okay? I woke up shivering and I didn't think you would mind," I whisper back, laying my head against him as we walk. His jaw clenches as he slightly nods. Free practice 2 had just ended, the boys having to attend a couple media and team duties before Oscar can take me back to the hotel. I wait nearby as he completes his media duties, watching his every move. I catch people videoing and photographing me as I watch the Australian.
As he heads to team duties, I follow behind, playing with my nails. I smile, watching him disappear to debrief with the team. I sit outside the team hub, listening to the sounds of people talking and having fun. I wave to some of the drivers as they pass by, shooting a smile their way. Debrief doesn't last too long, Oscar soon collecting me and beginning our walk to the car. We walk hand in hand, the silence between us almost deafening. He opens the car door for me, as usual, before he hops into the drivers side. It hits me I'm still wearing his sweater.
"Did you want your sweater back?" I ask, shrugging off the sweater. He crinkles his nose, shaking his head. I let out a soft sigh, nodding. As we begin the drive, I fold the sweater in my lap. I stare out the window, my fingers gently playing with the hems of the sweater. We arrive at the hotel, I say goodbye to Oscar, and jog inside.
"Nice sweater," Logan says as I open the door to the hotel room. I smile gently at him, lightly pushing him. I quickly change into sleep clothes, plopping down into the bed.
Summary Best friends with Logan, Calliope travels with him to the races. The only issue? His other best friend despises her. When Oscar faces issue with needing more media attention they urge him to date someone. Lando's idea? Calliope Jamison. Oscar's least favorite person.

A/N Enjoy my loves
Saturday morning arrives and I can't help the pit that forms in my stomach. I apply my usual makeup as I wait for Oscar to text me that he's outside. I've changed my outfit multiple times, basically having a panic attack over every outfit. I give up and just go with a pair of flare jeans with a loose papaya crop top and converse. I finally get the message that he's outside, causing me to hurriedly grab my tote bag before basically flinging myself out the door. The walk to the lobby feels like it takes so much longer than usual, letting the anxiety in my stomach bubble up even more.
Oscar is standing outside of the black McLaren that the team had rented for him for the weekend. He forces a tightlipped smile at me, opening the door for me. He helps me in before shutting the door and getting into the drivers seat. The only sound is the engine of the car and the soft music that was playing. We hadn't spoken since Thursday at the pit wall other than him sending message updates about the pick up time this morning. I try to ignore the awkward tension between us as he begins the drive to the paddock.
"I want you to watch the race from my garage," Oscar says, glancing over at me. I nod, continuing to stare out the window. The passing buildings seeming more and more interesting the longer I'm in this car with him.
"Anything else?" I ask, deciding that my hands are more interesting than the outside now. My nails were neatly done a week ago, now my fingers had slight scabs on them with marks where I've bitten the skin around my nails.
"Stop picking at your nails," he says sternly, reaching over to push my hands apart. I flinch, staring at my hands where his hand was.
"Sorry," I murmur out, my eyes unmoving. The silence returns to the car, just the sound of the engine revving filling the air. Once at the paddock, Oscar finds a spot in the drivers lot near Lando's rental. He gets out before walking around to help me out. The paddock is buzzing with energy as we make our way towards the entrance.
About 500 feet from the entrance, Oscar's hand grabs mine. Cameras flash around up, fans begging for his autograph, people yelling at us. I zone out, staring at the ground as Oscar stops to sign autographs. People clamor over him, trying to get his attention. My eyes stayed glued to the ground, staring at his feet, making sure I can follow him wherever he may go.
"Calliope. At least look like you want to be with me," Oscar whispers harshly into my ear as we begin to walk away from the crowd and towards the McLaren motorhome. I look up, laying my head on his arm as we walk.
"Better?" I ask, glancing up towards him. He gives a slight nod, his jaw clenching. Lando is waiting outside of the team hub for Oscar so they can get ready for the drivers parade. He looks at me, a smirk playing on his lips. Oscar leads me to his drivers room, where I wait for him to return from media and the parade.
~-~ -~-
About an hour and a half later Oscar opens the door to his drivers room. His eyes meet mine and his jaw clenches. I notice his eyes float to his race suit, so I take it as a sign to remove myself from the room so he can change.
After a couple minutes, he emerges and grabs my hand. I follow him as he leads the way to the McLaren garage where he sits me in a corner with a headset. His race suit is around his waist, the sleeves swishing around as he moves. I stare at him from afar, studying him. The way he watches his mechanics, the way he talks to Tom and Kim, the way he studies strategies. The noise around me disappears as all I can focus on is the Australian. He glances over at me, his eyes squinted, causing me to tear my eyes away from him. I stare out of the open garage door and to where the stands are. They begin to prepare for the reconnaissance lap, Oscar finishing suiting up. I watch the way he crinkles his nose as he pushes the ear plugs in before pulling the balaclava over his head. He pulls his helmet on his head, making his way to me. His brown eyes and the small area around his eyes are the only thing visible through his open visor.
"Kiss the helmet," I hear him say, causing me to furrow my brows but still I stand, lightly putting my lips to the side of his helmet. He begins walking away, glancing back at me once. He climbs into his car, readying himself for the single lap he gets before formation. I watch him begin driving out of the garage, the crew preparing to meet him on the grid.
Oscar qualified 8th, right behind Lando. Logan, on the other hand, is starting in 18th. The grid walk begins, the drivers making their way to their spots for the national anthem.
After about ten minutes we hear Croftys classic, "It's lights out and away we go! The 2024 Bahrain Grand Prix is underway!"
First turn and there's a collision between three cars. Nothing much - Hulkenberg ran into the back of Stroll, a slight involvement from Bottas. A bit of damage done to the Haas, Stroll spinning to the back of the line of cars. Around lap 10 I watch Logan off the track at turn 4, a yellow flag being brought out. My heart drops watching him go off, just knowing he's going to beat himself up about it later. They confirm Logan was having steering issues. All viewers can do is watch a horrific 50 second pit stop for Bottas, completely ruining his race. A little later Oscar is emerging from the pits, terrifyingly close to Hamilton, thankfully no collision. Come the end of the race, Verstappen wins with a 22.457 gap to Perez, who finishes second with Sainz behind him in third. Oscar ends in 8th, somehow still in the spot he started, whereas Lando moves up a spot, claiming 6th. Logan, unfortunately, ends in last place, 2 laps behind Verstappen.
I make my way towards the media pen, not wanting to be too entirely far from Oscar as he does post race interviews. Have to build the believability, right? When he comes out of the media pen, Oscar spots me, his jaw clenching. He takes a drink from his water bottle before grabbing my hand. I look up at him, his jaw ticking. We make our way to the team hub and he goes to change while I stand in the same spot as earlier. After a couple of minutes he emerges, his backpack on and ready to go.
"I'll take you back to your hotel so you can change. We're going to the Amber Lounge. The FIA has it rented out for drivers and race personnel for the night," Oscar says, pressing his lips together in a thin line. I nod, grabbing his hand, which he pushes away.
"Sorry. I thought you were ready to go," I murmur out, forcing myself to look anywhere but him. I can feel the heat radiating off his body, the anger of being near me.
"You hold my hand when I hold yours," he says, his jaw ticking. His voice is different, angrier. I nod, my eyes finding the floor. His hand grabs mine, rough and callused. He pulls me out of the hub and towards the parking lot. He stops for a couple of photos, pushing his way through the paddock to get to the drivers lot. He helps me into the car, shutting the door before turning to talk to someone. After a couple of minutes he climbs into the drivers seat, starting the engine.
~-~ -~-
The club lights illuminate Oscar's face, almost making him look like an angel. He's painted in pinks and purples, a blue light occasionally flickering over him. I'm sat next to him at a table with a couple of the others on the grid. His arm is around my shoulder, holding my body to his. A couple of the other drivers have raised eyebrows at us, but Oscar doesn't address it.
"I'm just saying that if my pit stop was almost a minute long, I'd just tell them to retire the car. I mean that ruins your race," Oscar says, referring to Bottas' stop. They've been talking about the race all night, which is understandable given they are the drivers, but at some point it can get mildly annoying.
"I'm gonna go get a drink," I smile, pulling away from Oscar. I scoot out of the booth, making my way towards the bar. I order a B-52 shot and a Lotus Martini, throwing back the shot before I head back to the table with the cocktail. I grimace at the taste of the Baileys that overpowers the other two drinks in the B-52.
"You good?" Daniel asks as I slide back into the booth, stirring my drink with my straw. I smile, nodding at him.
"Yeah, just didn't expect it to be that strong," I chuckle. Out of the corner of my eye I see Oscar raising his hand up, as to put it back around my shoulder. The second his hand touches me, I flinch.
"Are you sure you're good?" Logan asks, sensing somethings up.
"Yeah. Sorry, just startled me," I say, brushing it off. The boys go back to talking, Oscar's fingers basically playing with my necklace with how far down his hand is on me. I stare down into the blue cocktail, watching as the liquid swirls when I move my straw. My reflection stares back at me, making me giggle slightly.
"The fact that you were so close to the points and barely missed out sucks. That would've been such a great start to the season," George says, gesturing to Zhou. Zhou sighs and smiles with a nod.
"Quite disappointed about that. Yeah it just wasn't good enough," he said with a defeated smile.
"Cheer up Zhou. You'll get them next time," I smile over at him. Oscar's arm tightens around me, shutting me up. Zhou smiles back and nods.
"Max, you going to give anyone else a chance this year?" Daniel laughs out, causing Max to flip him off.
"They get a chance when they have a good car," Max says, "not my fault everyone else's cars suck." I chuckle, sipping on my drink.
"Do you want a sip?" I ask, pushing the glass towards the man that is basically clinging to me. He puts his lips on my straw, winking at me as he drinks. I pull it away after a couple seconds.

A/N Surprise !! So this technically isn't new as it was originally published on my Wattpad under a similar username but under the title "I'm Yours" - nonetheless I hope you guys enjoy and I will be doing my best to update these both at the same time !!
Bahrain 2024
I slide my paddock pass around my neck before fixing my hair. My short light blue dress falls right above my knees, ensuring I won't overheat at the track today. I double check that my converse are tied as I spin in the mirror, trying to get a good look at the whole outfit. My brown hair falls gracefully around my face and on top of my chest.
"Callie let's go!" Logan yells from outside the bathroom . I groan, slipping my sweater on just incase I get cold, as I know I'll be at the track until late and it can get chilly in Bahrain. I open the bathroom door and walk into the hotel room where my best friend sat waiting for me.
Logan and I have known each other for as long as I can remember. He is the closest thing to a brother that I have. His parents basically adopted me when we were younger, always being at his house and never my own. I've always supported him through all of the races, always trying to be there for him. Once he joined Formula 2, I started traveling with him. Which I still do, especially now since he's in F1.
"You ready?" Logan asks, pulling himself up off his bed. He's wearing a Williams shirt and a pair of jeans. His dirty blonde hair is a mess, which I guess is normal for him.
"Yea," I answer, grabbing my camera bag and phone. My camera bag held my room key and all my cards so I wouldn't have to carry another bag. Logan opened the door, letting me walk out first. I smiled up at him as we got on the elevator and headed downstairs.
"So what are your plans while I'm in meetings and stuff?" Logan asks as we step off the elevator and into the main lobby of the hotel. I think for second, trying to decide between a couple things.
"Wander around a bit. Might get some photos of the boys. Worse comes to worse I'll camp in your drivers room with a book," I tell him and he nodded in response. He helps me into the rental car before getting into the drivers side. He backs out of the parking spot, driving through the crowds of people to get to the paddock.
We arrive at the paddock fairly quickly and I link my arm with Logans as he leads me into the paddock. Cameras go off all around us as Logan and I enter. Fans scream at Logan, asking for autographs and pictures. It makes me smile to see how much people care about Logan and enjoy having him around the paddock. We part ways, him going to the Williams hospitality while I begin to walk around, snapping pictures around the paddock. It's media day, which means most of the drivers are out doing photos and playing around.
"Calliope!" I hear a familiar voice yell, making me snap my head towards where it came from. Lando is waving frantically at me. I chuckle at him and walk over to him, embracing him in a quick side hug.
"How's it going Lando?" I ask when we pull apart and start walking towards the McLaren building. He lets out a loud sigh and starts to jokingly complain about how long it's been since he last saw me.
"I haven't seen you in forever. Like it's been so long. You're literally never around when I need you most. Like you leave me Oscar all the time and he's so annoying," Lando jokingly expressed, making me chuckle.
"I literally saw you a week ago," I reply making him wave his hand at me, dismissing my statement. We neared the McLaren building, where Oscar was sitting outside on his phone. I smile up at him, sending a small wave his way. He ignores it, but calls out to Lando.
"Hey Lando! We gotta go film something," Oscar says, standing up. He pockets his phone, staring straight past me. Lando sighs and gives me a sympathetic look before running up the stairs of the hospitality. As the two papaya boys disappear behind the glass doors I turn my attention towards the center of the paddock. With a forced smile, I make my way to where the RB and VCARB boys are.
"Hey boys," I smile at them, sending a small wave. Daniel engulfs me in a side hug, ruffling my hair as he pulls away from me. I swat at his hand, telling him to leave my hair alone.
"Calliope, hey. What are you up to today?" Max asks, leaning his lower back on the barrier behind him.
"I'm not really sure. Just been taking pictures so far today," I smile at him, gesturing to my camera. He nods and takes a drink of his RedBull. I talk with them a bit until they have to go off for media duties, leaving me alone once again.
I make my way towards the track, slipping an earbud in. I hum along to the music as I begin walking around the track. I take a couple photos of the empty track, the calm before the storm. The sun begins to set, leaving me to walk a fourth of the track purely by street lights. I head towards Williams hospitality building to meet back up with Logan before we head back to the hotel. My earbuds are still in, blasting music. I'm off in my own little world that I don't even hear Lando calling for me - I just feel him grabbing me.
"Wait what the fuck?" I exclaim, fighting the grasp before I realize it was Lan. My fear dissipates a little at the sight of his face.
"Callie I need to ask a favor of you," Lando starts in a really serious tone. "I need you to fake date Oscar." I start laughing the second he finishes his sentence. I remove my arms from his hands and begin walking again.
"That's really funny Lan. That man refuses to look in my direction. Plus I'm not one to date," I say walking backwards so that I'm still facing the Brit. He groans and follows after me.
"Look it's just for the media. You only have to be seen with each other in public. It's not that big of a deal," he practically pleads with me. I ignore him and begin to head inside of the hospitality. "Callie. I'm literally begging you. What's the worse that could happen? Just humor the media for a month."
"Lan I don't know. I barely know him. I don't think it would work," I tell him. He sighs and hangs his head.
"Please Callie? I can get him to talk to you and assure you it's only for the media. No strings attached. No having to do this when you're inside and alone besides the occasional ones to post on socials. Please," he pleads with me, determined to get me to agree. I sigh, rubbing my palms down my cheeks.
"Fine. I'll do it," I say, just wanting him to shut up. I hear him gasp and his hands are around my body.
"Thank you Callie. Seriously I'll do whatever you need from me for the rest of my life," Lando says, basically suffocating me in a hug. I pat his back, trying to ease him off of me. I part ways with him and make my way into the bathroom inside the hospitality.
"What the fuck am I getting myself into?" I ask myself in the mirror. I grip the porcelain sink, trying to ground myself. My phone going off in my pocket causes me to jump and bang my arm on the sink. I grimace as I pull my phone out to see who it was. Oscar is displayed in big lettering at the top of the screen. I sigh and answer the phone.
"Hello?" I ask through the phone, cringing and cradling my arm. I hear him shuffling around in the background a bit.
"Meet me at the pit wall in ten," the Australian voice comes through the phone before the call disconnects. I shot a quick message to Logan telling him I'll find a ride to the hotel if he leaves, not wanting to keep him waiting if this goes longer than a couple of minutes. I sigh, putting the phone back into my pocket. I make sure that I still look okay, not wanting to give an even worse impression than he already has of me.
I walk out of the hospitality suite and begin the walk to the garages. It's not a long or far walk, just the feeling of wanting to throw up causes me to stop quite a few times. When Logan was in karting with Oscar, he would talk to me. Then as they both worked their ways through the chain to get to Formula One, Oscar quit talking to me and began to avoid me at all costs. Logan says he has no clue why; just noticed that it happened one day. The lights around the paddock are the only thing illuminating my walk to the pit wall, which almost feels like a lamb being led to the slaughter. I play with the hem of my dress as I get closer to the pit wall, genuinely scared to talk to the Australian.
The pits are almost empty, just a couple of mechanics here and there. I sit on the pavement of the Williams section of the wall, trying to focus on keeping my breathing even. I sit like that for about four minutes before I'm interrupted.
"Calliope," my head snaps up at the sound of the Australians voice. In the light of the street lamps he looks like an angel staring down at me. He nods down the pit wall, gesturing that he wants to walk. I push myself up off the ground and begin walking with him. It's quiet for a couple of minutes.
"Oscar," I start, "are we actually doing this or not?" He doesn't even look at me, just continues walking forward.
"It's just for media attention Calliope," his voice is hollow. There's no meaning behind his words. I nod, staring further down the pit lane.
"Obviously we'll have to set some rules," I say before he cuts me off.
"Rules for dating?"
"I mean like no dating others," I say, looking down at my feet.
"Obviously. We're supposed to be in love," he sighs out.
"Nothing too big and extravagant date wise. Extravagant makes me nervous," I say, doing my best to stop from looking at him or in his direction.
"We only do this stuff in public. Nothing behind the scenes unless necessary," his voice is harsher than it was earlier.
"Obviously. I believe that's it," I murmur out, finally looking at him. He nods, staring up at the moon.
"How do we make this believable?" Oscar asks, glancing down at me.
"Well we start with following each other on socials and then slowly soft launching, right?" I ask adverting my gaze to anywhere but him. I hear him let out a noise of contentment.
"Saturday you'll walk in with me. I'll pick you up at 10 on Saturday morning. I'll see you then," he says, suddenly walking away. I stand there dumbfounded for a minute before I gather my thoughts and head towards the car park to meet Logan, who has informed me he hasn't left yet.
There's a couple of ways this could end; and none of them are good.
